Not bad but I heard a better one. Imo in this the wrong strings are being emphasized. The melody is being cut out in many places so it just sounds like a background track.
That's the obvious choice, but there are several things working in my favour here: first, the lyrics fit Raiden better than they do Sam, which I'll demonstrate: "Memories broken, the truth goes unspoken" - Raiden repressed his memories of being a child soldier. "I've even forgotten my name!" - There were a lot of references to that and similar things in Metal Gear Solid 2. "I don't know the season or what is the reason I'm standing here holding my blade!" - (see next comment)
- Again, this doesn't really fit either, but "dragon" could be loose symbolism for RAY and/or EXCELSUS. "Because the mountains don't give back what they take" - Who knows? Brazil is mountainous, but so are Liberia and Pakistan. "(repeated line), It's the only thing I've ever known!" - Raiden was a child soldier, first wielding a rifle at six years old. "Losing my identity, wondering have I gone insane?" - Jack the Ripper. (see next comment - it'll be the last one, I promise)
