I guess it was not that hard to mention in your video ( at 4:40 ) , that the phone needs to be rooted beforehand (for option #4 - AirDroid), otherwise the confirmation window for granting access will not pop up on the phone's screen. Much appreciated if could share with the viewers in the beginning of the video or within its description, that you are using rooted phone.

It says that because you connecting your phone screen to whatever your conecting it to. Which means that it will mirror everything on your phone, so if you enter a password on your phone, it will show up on your mirror device. Its not like a live robot trying to take your passwords lol. It just means that it mirrors eveything on your phone

Awesome ! I could get it to work in less than a minute even though I'm a computer novice. I live in New Zealand and here my phone company does not allow tethering to my Mac/PC even though I get huge amount of data on my phone very cheap. By your method, I no longer have to watch youtube or movies by squinting my eyes on my small android screen. I will save hundreds $ by using my phone data and not have to subscribe to another internet provider for an internet connection (which is quite expensive here). Thank you !!

There is an app called Quicksupport from Teamviewer.. it lets you control your phone remotely from a computer via Teamviewer. so basically it works like screen casting (free & no watermark i believe).. im not sure about the latency though
I don't use any apps. I have adb set up on my pc, USB debugging enabled on my phone and permissions granted. Copied scrcpy files to adb directory. Created a .bat file of scrcpy commands for casting. Copied a shortcut of the file to desktop. Tada. Double click and good to go. It works wirelessly if adb is connected wirelessly. And it even works with phones screen turned off and we can control the phone entirely using computers keyboard, mouse Go get scrcpy from GitHub and instructions from xda

Is there any app or software which will also cast internal audio....? Because screen casting is not a big deal... We want audio also..
