- I stand unarmed to offer a challenge! So that we, from here forth, may never again fight our brothers!
Blue path starts at 13:33.
Green path starts at 16:04.
Purple path starts at 18:05.
Yeah, they got really lazy for Ieyasu's Green and Purple paths. They took cutscenes of other characters, stuffed them in when they had almost nothing to do with him, and repeated the ending cutscene twice. That Tsuruhime cutscene especially looks out of place, but it's a unique intro and in his path, so had to include it I suppose.
Ieyasu is voiced by Liam O'Brien.
I swear to god I actually cried when Ieyasu started to cry over Mitsunari. The man swore he was going to kill him and took every chance he could to accomplish it, and yet he still considered him his friend and cried over him when push came to shove. Our world needs someone like Ieyasu desperately.
10:03 You can also see in his face that he starts to regret fighting Mitsunari and what he did to him
@@neppingofneps7406 yea Ieyasu didnt enjoy it not one bit cus that was his friend he had to kill and he didnt want to do it
It actually needs someone like Mitsunari. Or better yet, Matabe.
"I have lived and fought through many wars...witnessed their results... The foulest of all being how they sever the bonds that unite us. It is time I changed that. I stand unarmed to offer a challenge. So that we, from here forth, may never again fight our brothers!"
~Ieyasu Tokugawa
In It to Win It!
I love this man so much. Both the character and the man voicing him.
Ieyasu 's the type of guy I would gladly join if I knew he could actually change things for the better. Plus his heroic ideology that emphasized cooperation without excessive dominance or blind loyalty makes him all the more admirable.
I agree
He’s better than Liu Bei from Dynasty Warriors in my personal opinion.
flipcamgamer i definitely agree with that
He sexy 😍😍
Aye.. I'd join with him too the man wants peace for the country not war and I gotta say I like his ideology very much
i just love the voice actors from sengoku basara. they really suit the characters they play.
Weird coming from someone who played Samurai Warriors thou
Ieyasu Tokugawa, the greatest Daimyo of Japanese history.
You mean Shogun.
The greatest unifier of japan and ended the backstabbing of japan.
Except he was evil in real life since the Japanese people were unhappy when he was shogun
I just love his voice! Really reminded me of Ieyasu when playing For Honor as a male Warden.
How I wish they could’ve made a special cutscenes between Ieyasu and Nobunaga in the Incident At Honno-Ji stage. That would be so epic af!
Its weird for a good guy to have the voice Liam O'Brien uses for anti-heroes
Still awesome, though
+Hector the Third Well, he also voiced Asura in "Asura's Wrath".
Illidan kills Hideyoshi and tries to lead Japan
"oh, look at me. Do I seemed delusional?" I love this part so much😱😱😍😍
why oh why basara 4 dont have english version T.T
the english version voice actor is good tho in samurai heroes
2:39
Yoshiaki Mogami's voice-actor...
That's the same guy who voices Yuan Shao in the Dynasty Warriors games, isn't it? (at least, since DW6)
+White Raven Actually he started in DW7 onward, but yes it's the same. Quite fitting really.
Garaa's Voice :O
And Asura's
damn Capcom went hard for the dub wish they also did the english dub of 4 samuregi
The scene with Yoshiyaki makes me realize that Ieyasu could be really scary if he wanted to be...
Nostalgia :)
Shit. Whenever Tokugawa talks to Tadakatsu in the English dub, I just hear James Garett talking to Fisto.
Even Mitsunari's haircut is so edgy!
The ending dialogue between the two make me quess they use to be close friends, similar to professor x and magneto.
I thought that he's using a staff/spear, now he's just using his fists
He used a spear when he was a kid, but once he becomes adult he uses his fists.
I kinda wished that there was a path where both would come along and don't kill each other. I loved the Anime and the game but i always felt that there was more between them than just a plain friendship... and that kills me
Ieyasu COOL
Someone please can transcribe Ieyasu's first sentence? "I have lived far through many wars and witnessed their results..." I can't get the other part. Thank you.
+duffmk "I have lived and fought through many wars...witnessed their results... The foulest of all being how they sever the bonds that unite us. It is time I changed that. I stand unarmed to offer a challenge. So that we, from here forth, may never again fight our brothers!"

IN IT TO WIN IT
I wish there were more interactions between ieyasu and mitsunari
Is this the reference when Hideyoshi dies, Ieyasu wanted to gain more power, mitsunari tried to stop him, sets the battle of sekigahara
Not sure or huge on the Japanese history but from this here it seemed hideyoshi was wanting to control the country for power and rule and Ieyasu disagreed and killed him thus having mitsunari who worshipped hideyoshi to sworn vengeance on Ieyasu for killing his master
@@onepieceking1770 well historically it was the other way around in comparison to this disney version of the sengoku period.
Was Ieyasu Tokugawa a ruthless ruler as many Japanese movies portray him to be?
Oh absolutely!
He’s the worst scum of earth in sengoku era that deserve nothing but the worst, most painful death known to men.
Let’s list some of his deeds shall we?
He ordered his wife and son killed just because his superior/ally told him to.
He promised to help Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s son beside his death bed, and then started a war to takeover.
He killed Hideyoshi’s entire family for “a crime even heaven cannot forgive”. What atrocity have they done to deserve such rage? Well, apparently, they’ve done such an atrocious act like…… wrote a plaque for a local shrine wishing world (Japan) peace. Do note that they have absolutely no power to threaten him anymore.
He said he wish for peace in Japan…. which has already been achieved by Toyotomi Hideyoshi AKA “monkey”, and he raised that peace to the ground by starting another war just for his ambition.
Demand Uesugi Kagekatsu(Kenshin's adopted son and nephew from his sister Aya-Gozen) to go meet the emperor in kyoto so he could attack his defenceless land, when refused, he simply attacked anyway.
It’s not really fair to only talk about his personal action, let’s see some of his allies shall we:
Hosokawa Tadaoki, a psychotic freak who killed his younger sister’s husband, and cut off his female servant’s nose just because his wife believed in christianity. His daughter-in-law refuse to commit suicide, so he demand his son to divorce her, when he refused, he cut off relation with his son.
Date Masamune, famous for shooting his own allies on the battlefield.
Tōdō Takatora, changed his belief just to please Ieyasu.
Kobayakawa Hideaki, the famous traitor of sekigahara, his betrayal directly resulted the crushing defeat of western army, and so many heroes within.
These are his allies and vassals, does it really suprise anyone that he have such questionable allies?
For comparison, let’s see the western army in sekigahara:
Ishida Mistunari, even though he’s sure that he does not have the power to defeat Ieyasu, raised an army anyway just because he is that loyal to Toyotomi.
Otani Yoshitsugu, a leper stricken man that joined western army knowing full well that they couldn’t win, just because out of the entire Japan, only Mitsunari gave him respect and does not shun him for his leprosy.
Konishi Yukinaga, a christian of merchant descent, the lowest of lowest in sengoku pecking order, gave his life to repay Mitsunari’s respect of his belief.
Shima Sakon AKA “the oni”, charged straight into the enemy and die fighting, he could’ve escape or surrender, but he prefer Mitsunari’s friendship than Ieyasu’s forgiveness.
Gamō Yorisato Charged into massive easter army’s force even after Sakon was killed, and push them back again and again until been overwhelmed.
Haratsuka Tamehiro, hold 10,000+ of eastern army’s forces at bay with 360 men.
Takashi Yutaka, gave his life carried Otani’s head away from the battlefied, just so that his lord’s leper stricken face won’t be laughed at.
Big reminder that we're hearing Takanuva in this game.
I get it! It's because of the fact their power is light and they seek unity between people :)
same voice actor who does gara
Gaara
And Asura from Asura's Wrath
Litle macs cooler brother
this voice actor is everywhere, jesus
Thanks
HASAKI !
14 in 2008 - not 15 yet. oops.
who's nala dammeier?
nty.
I'm on mitsunari side, and tbh I don't even know who wins between mitsunari and Ieyasu.
Historically, Ieyasu does, but in game it all depends on who you play. The anime also has a different conclusion too.
According to history, Ieyasu does win, however he doesn't kill Mitsunari. There has been rumors on whether or not Ieyasu simply let him go, but he does escape until he was found and executed by villagers.
I like him more in this game then samurai warriors bc hes pretty fat in samurai warriors and a boxer in this game love it
this guy sounds like yasuo
Българска Федерация По Борба they're the same voice actor I guess
Huh...so he shares the same English VA with Akihiko Sanada from P3. Unfortunately I feel this voice for Ieyasu does not fit the character at all.
the Japanese one is perfect
Well this guy voiced gaara. so I think he does fit.
Actually it's perfect.Persona series is about bonds.
OMG Ieyasu laughed!
I know 🥰🥰🥰
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Can't you read?
What are you asking?
the title
What game is this?
Hello Kitty: Revengeance Part XVI.
Xaldin007 Thanks. It's a perfect game, the best game I've ever seen. I give it a 3/10.
Sengoku basara 3 for wii
neko9 Ayumi It's totally Ninja Gaiden. Look there's Dante.
Lol
Yeah he is very cool in the anime version and have very good story, but somewhat I don't like his gameplay because is just slow and prefer more Mitsunari
I honestly don't see anything wrong with liking him,But it seems people forget that Ieyasu Tokugawa was ruthless in real life.
