Thanks Jacob! I agree with your 100% on your thoughts about ritual. I too believe in "speaking out loud", but will never tell someone that using their thoughts is wrong. Paganism, even though we gather for group rituals, is a very solitary practice, and each person must evolve into it in their own time, and in their own way. It is also great advice to take it slow. I got overwhelmed when I first started because I tried to throw myself into everything and learn everything, and do everything...it burned me out! Faith, of any kind, should be a deliberate process, and that means it should evolve slowly to be the most beneficial to the person. Your story at the end about the people seeing you covered in mud CRACKED ME UP! You rock dude! Love ya my pagan bro!
Hello brother I’m am just a young pagan form Australian of all places and I would just like to say thank you so much for your content you have helped me so much
lol the part about the family seeing the mud was funny. I go out into the woods to record music videos for my black metal project and I wear corpse paint, then when I ride my bike back to the train station everyone looks at me 🤣
I whole heartedly believe it is very important to protect yourself and be smart about it. A door works both ways, that's why I hate Ouija boards. In the physical world, I protect my wife because I'm stronger and a soldier. But in the spiritual world, it's ME that's vulnerable, especially since I'm manic depressive bipolar diagnosed with PTSD. Evil things in the spiritual world love to influence mentally unstable people. But that's where my wife comes in, she protects me from those things. Shes very powerful when she needs to be and there have been times when I was attacked, meaning I had something bad attached to me that was causing unprovoked random negative thoughts constantly, and it was trying to wear me down. My wife stepped in and with some help from the Gods, the thing was removed and I felt a very physical difference. Lighter on my feet, felt like I stood a bit taller and most of all I could control my own thoughts again.
I believe using your voice is how it should be done. Words have power, and my wife pointed out something amazing to me, she said "why do you think it's call SPELLING?" Written words have power too, but spoken is directed at whatever it is you intend to communicate with.
I like to give incense to my chosen gods. I usually do this at home. When I worship in nature, I like to leave them a drink and speak to them. Thanks for another great video!
I like using incense when I meditate. I have some incense that is more expensive than my everyday meditation incense that I reserve for offerings. I also use neroli oil for both inside and outside. I like using dried rose buds, or other plants that I have preserved for tea, for outside offerings, although I felt inspired so I used a few ounces of local wine last time.
@@metalcatmom5891 may I ask what scents that you prefer to use for offerings? I usually use dragon's blood or lavender, but I'd like to switch it up a little. 🌹
@@stephanieanne2352 My fancy incense is Kayuragi aloeswood. More aloeswood is supposed to be more fancy, which is why I ordered that one. The scent isn't my favorite though. Next time I buy, I may get Jasmine, Rose, or Green Tea. My less expensive favorites are Rose Musk, Ginger Lily, and Green Tea.
Hello Jacob, I was wondering aimlessly on the internet trying to seek more information of Norse paganism, and I have found you posted less than an hour ago. I think this is a sign. I do ask, how do you find other Norse pagans nearby?
Hi Jacob , I’m a hellenism pagan and was wondering, do you know if norse gods have any reserves with working with pagans from other pathways. ( as I have heard of the vows Norse pagans make) And if it’s recommended to have multiple altars for each panthéon? (The deities in question are freya and Freyr) Thanks, love you videos.
@Marax Aram Hi, thanks for point of vue, yeah i think two altars would be the way to go aswell. I have read that certain gods are quite jelous and hate being worshiped among others like "Mami wata", and i was wondering if others like her did the same:) Thanks anyway!
I don't think there would be any problems at all. There is evidence that some people were worshiping both jesus and the norse gods at the same time during the transition period, which I imagine modern christians probably can't understand at all. So if that isn't an issue than I imagine another indoeuropean tradition would be zero problem. But yeah the norse seem to have been very ideologically open--wherever they settled they quickly adopted local burial customs etc. The normans spoke french not norse, and it had only been a couple generations since that area of france had been settled by the norse.
lol I've had a moment where I had a alter set up at a park and this kid ran into the clearing I was in they looked at me i didn't stop the ritual he watched for a moment then ran away. must have thought i was crazy
Hello im a newer norse pagan who started believing in the norse gods last year but i can not practice that well as im in high school and my mom is christian and my dad is atheist
Frustrating. Need info on paganism. How to practice. How to do rituals. Etc. No info. anyplace online. Why not give some kind of basic instructions? All anyone does is talk about practice, but no instructions! Irritating!!! Does anyone on the internet/TH-cam give instructions rather than just talk about it? Grrr!!! How do you communicate with the deities? How do you set up alters? What are the steps etc in a ritual? What beliefs? Mythology? Please don't just say these things exist. People need instructions! Information!
There are many. Search your questions in TH-cam and google. I have found several today. There are also many good book you can research on pagan rituals. Also, for paganism and beyond, reddit is a great resource with a great community.

I recently created my own protection ritual for my new home. I spent about 5 weeks preparing for it and preformed it on the last full moon. Xx
