- I am cleaning up this massive yard for this owner. This is a dream come true uncovering these iconic trucks and taking a trip down the history of our automobile times. As I was working I talked with the owner and found out everything is for sale. For the price of $2500.00 you can own your dream restoration.
Not gonna lie! I felt like a kid in a candy store!!!

I may be an old lady at 81 but at one time owned 7 cars, belonged to 3 car clubs, had presided over our clubs desplay at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. This find is awesome for many who are looking for parts that are not replicas.❤❤❤

If my dad was still alive he would have LOVED this video. As an auto mechanic in the 50's - 70's he loved tinkering with these old vehicles.

the owner how much he wanted, he came back with ' if you can start it you can have it' Big mistake you should have seen his face when he got it started.

I'm with you Robert on the old cars. They had character unlike today's models. My favorites are the '58 and '59 model chevys. I noticed that yard had lots of '55 chevy pickups. My dad had one. I learned to drive in a '59 chevy, blue with a white top.

Love watching you & your son at work 😊. My dad had thin skin issues also. When weed whacking he’d constantly get multiple skin tears. We took tube socks, cut off the toes and cut hole at the heel. Pull it over his hand like a glove. Thumb thru the heel hole, fingers thru toe hole 🤚 🧦 Problem solved. Worked for him

There are some cool finds there, I agree the panel trucks are hard to find and so cool when restored. You really did this man a solid by cleaning up the overgrowth to reveal some gems.

You could tell, I really wanted to give a few of the a new home. I really love old cars and trucks just loved them when I was a kid growing up. They used to have class style and people loved to show them off. Boy times have really changed I guess.😊

He is a good guy, he is a joker but a good man. He know what he has but will sell it at a build able price. He has been doing this his whole life. He has car's in barns and thinks setting around his house that would make up say oh baby.😊

We love the classics.
I have a 64 1/2 mustang and he has an old Rambler American as well as a 51 Chevrolet coupe . Surprisingly there are lots of classics up here in VT. We have car clubs that have cruise nights and car shows.

I loved your show this week, when I was a kid that was the best time ever getting to go to what we called a junkyard and pick through old cars and look for change underneath back seats. You got to reminisce about my younger days, thank you for that.
My first ride was a 1955 International with a 48 Ford flatbed and Oldsmobile tail lights that looked like cat eyes on the dark. I loved my truck, my second vehicle was a 1949 Plymouth I still have today 38 years later I'm in bliss watching this episode!!!
Nowadays you can't hardly find a mechanic that knows how to fix old cars. We have a 2004 ford focus ztw Station Wagon,it chimes without the key in it, some of the lights on the dash come on. We have taken it to seven different places. Great Job 👍

Me too just loved the looks of it, look up 1955 panel wagon on Google oh it's a chevy. Look at the pictures. They are so cool and I think it would look really cool setting beside the 1948 crosley wagon my dad used to own.

The hood you were trying to lift on that Cadillac i think you need to lift and pull back simultaneously and when lowering need to push in and down..sought of like the GMC square body trucks.Im sure the owner appreciated the fresh cut and trim.Thanks for a new unique experience!

I was born in 1953 and loved the older cars and trucks, my dad owned a car shop and would bring home different cars.

My oldest sister was born in 1944, and she was 3 or 4 in the picture with the car in the background. But I really don't know what model we had back then. I hope several of these old vehicles get sold to new owners and get restored! Thanks for the video!!

A Bumper😊 CROP of scrap, I'm a mechanic's wife of 50 years, and on my acres, I am proud to say we have never made our home a junk yard. That land is as sad as a cemetery. 😢 Lots of potential, but in reality, more potential for scrap money, Save A Chevy. Let the rest... rest in pieces ❤ 😂

@@CabinontheHill the old mechanics are getting far and few between now, sadly. My Brother back in the day, made custom street rods, a few are still on the road today. He still does bodywork, and custom paint. My husband restored 67 Chevy impala, everytime he would start it up would shake the windows in the house. Love cars, always will. ❤️ Great job by the way.
