I noticed that there has been a lot of controversy in the comments concerning the stereotype I made on the TNO-mod. I would like to finish this discussion by giving a final statement and clearing some things up: 1.) I made a mistake when referring to the Devs as right-wing. I was too focused on the former leading Dev "The Pink Panzer", who got accused by other TH-camrs of doing terrible stuff. Most of the Devs are actually extremely left-wing. There is just a very thin line between both political extremes and I failed to separate them at that time. 2.) This statement does not condemn the actions made by the leading Dev "Pacifica". A trans-woman who has a crush on Mikhail Suslov (Someone who committed genocide on the Chechen population and other Muslim minorities), is being extremely toxic towards other Devs, forcing them to do crunch times and causing a lot of Drama concerning the TNO-redux Devs. 3.) I apologize if I made any TNO developers, who don´t share the same qualities as "Pink Panzer" or "Pacifica" (according to these allegations) look bad. I may not know exactly whether she is still in charge but if that's so, I personally condemn the developers who are still working with her after this whole scandal. 4.) Like mentioned in the disclaimer, this video is not meant to offend anyone by any means and are just made for fun and entertainment. Edit: Panzer just replied, denying these accusations towards him and Pacifica. I also had a conversation with Mountain General. It’s just statement against statement right now whether or not who is right in this situation, I don’t want to be dragged any further into this situation and I wish for the very best whoever is right in this situation. The funny thing with that first stereotype is that 56 works best with all the DLCs you can get. Sidenote in regards to ww3 there was a variety of studies that came out in the mid and late 2010s that recalculated the effects of a nuclear war and realized even at the weapons stockpile height of the cold war, not only would a fullscale nuclear war not end the world, there would still be both a Russia and America around to keep fighting said war, even all of said nukes were detonated exclusively in America and USSR

As someone who mostly plays Millennium Dawn, it's less that we want WWIII to happen, and more that I couldn't care less about war, and just want to improve the lives of my people... Also, I have no military skills whatsoever and lost to civil-war South Sudan as the DRC... after getting 2 million troops and being supported by all of NATO, BRICS, and Paraguay (for some reason).
Played as Canada in MD and conquered all of Africa with 13 divisions but what I really love is developing my country and getting a GDP of 405k and puppeting the United States by paying off their 50 trillion dollar debt. Also going from 30 factories to 1300 is a fun experience

Near as I can tell all the terrible stuff “behind the scenes” for TNO was actually a Sub-mod “TNO Redux” which was being made by a bunch of alt-right dorks who didn’t like that TNO didn’t paint Nazis in a very good light. At least, the only stuff I can find for controversy had to do with TNO-Redux and Pacifica (one of the devs of that sub mod) There were a couple of crappy members of the moderating team in the discord that got the boot a while back too. I’d be happy to learn more though if people have info.

I know I’m the discord there was a mod who took the rule of not discussing politics/current conflict (which includes Ukraine) and started harassing Slavic members, but he got removed. Pacifica is Trans and was criticized for liking a communist. I think she's left wing. She was also the Dev for the original TNO, not the Sub Mod. Panzer, who also worked on the original TNO, was left wing. If I recall, he said that he watched Vaush. He was criticized for having a weird porn folder on his computer.

Road to 56 is my favourite mod and when I had downloaded it I didn't have any dlc but i still play it a lot for the expanded dlc content. (Im so happy it is finnaly back) I also like the end of a new begging so much and yes i have *a lot of free time*
My favourite mod is Road to 56. I have all of the dlcs but I like tthis particular cuz adds interesting national focus trees. As an example I give Germany and the focus on communism, which does not exist in Waking the Tiger.

As a HOI4 player who thinks all the DLC's are either over priced fuckballs or down right useless garbage (i have a friend who owns all DLC's) I am proud to say RT56 is my fav mod 😎 We dont talk about the fact i hold TNO in the same position.

I know I’m the discord there was a mod who took the rule of not discussing politics/current conflict (which includes Ukraine) and started harassing Slavic members, but he got removed.

Pacifica is Trans and was criticized for liking a communist. I think she's left wing. She was also the Dev for the original TNO, not the Sub Mod. Panzer, who also worked on the original TNO, was left wing. If I recall, he said that he watched Vaush. He was criticized for having a weird porn folder on his computer.

can somebody tell me the context of the TNO developers, its honestly one of my favourite mods.
I think some neo nazis got salty that the mod’s nazis were depicted as incompetent and so started some shit before the TNO community excised them.
Either way I don’t get the impression that the modern TNO dev team is rife with nazis seeing as communism is depicted as having the potential to be good while nazism and fascism is depicted as being broadly miserable.

Neptunia/fate mods: similar to the last one but you only care for one series.

Avatar mod: you love the idea of playing in your favorite show! ...only if it was updated more than once in a blue moon.

Road to 56 is my favourite mod and when I had downloaded it I didn't have any dlc but i still play it a lot for the expanded dlc content. (Im so happy it is finnaly back)

My favourite mod is Road to 56. I have all of the dlcs but I like tthis particular cuz adds interesting national focus trees. As an example I give Germany and the focus on communism, which does not exist in Waking the Tiger.

I do agree that one's political stance is not building whole person. I have always been more or less right winger who is also into ww2 history and military stuff, but I'm fully condemning extreme behavior. Political party I have voted for my life got hijacked by some far right members. Only recently I returned as their voters when leadership of the party made it clear that extermism in their name is not allowed.
The extreme people accused the party leadership of being bunch of whiny SJWs and they formed their own political party called "Blue black movement"

Actually developers of TNO are left. Every time you choose ultranationalist or Nazi path or any kill all path . It's very hard. For example, ultranationalist path for Japan. And it's unrealistic Considering how much centuries we all lived under authoritarian regimes and now some people still live under them and they have never lived under democratic rule.
