Lefteris, whose real name is Maximilian, is a dynamic DJ and rising artist from Vienna, enriching the electronic music scene with his unique sound. Born and raised in Vienna, he began DJing at the age of 19 and has steadily developed his craft ever since. Originally known as DJ Flashtrack, he rebranded himself two years ago to mark his shift from mainstream tech house to a more underground-oriented sound.
After completing his high school diploma, Max fulfilled his civil service with the Samaritan Association before starting a German studies degree at the University of Vienna. Concurrently, he delved deeper into the world of music, which not only led him to DJing but also to a more conscious exploration of Vienna’s club scene. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Max used the time productively to produce his own music and further hone his skills.
Lefteris' engagement in the scene first became evident through his involvement with the collective Wiener Schlawiener, where he not only performed as a resident DJ but also took on responsibilities in social media management and event planning. After the collective disbanded, he co-founded a new project called SOLID with two friends, for which he is now well-prepared.
Musically, Lefteris has found his style: a minimalist, groovy tech house strongly influenced by the UK scene. His performances are characterized by a deep understanding of sound and audience, making him a sought-after act in the Vienna club scene.
Lefteris stands for honesty, humor, and a laid-back attitude, which are reflected in his music and personality. He struggles with the ambition that often gets in the way of realizing his dreams, but his determination and continuous development point to a promising future.
His criticism of the Vienna club scene is constructive: he calls for more quality and diversity in clubs and views Grelle Forelle as a prime example of a well-functioning club. His life motto, to live life on his own terms and not conform to others, is reflected in his music and lifestyle.
