We do use haldi powder in some recipes like fish or kashaya. But it's purpose in our cuisine is more as anti-fungal/ medicine than for flavor. I think North Karnataka cuisine is influenced more by North Indian cuisine, where turmeric is used as a flavouring agent. 🙏😊❤️
