क़रीब ४० से भी ज़्यादा सालोंसे यह ग़ज़ल सुन रहा हूँ परंतु आज भी जब सुनता हूँ तो रूह बेचैन हो जाती है ! शब्द, स्वर और संगीत के इस दिव्य त्रिवेणी संगम में हमें स्नान करने का यह जो सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ है बस इसी में यह जीवन कृतार्थ हो गया है .. !!🙏🏼

I had the honor of driving down Pacific Coast Highway, California, 1986 - "ustad" sitting shotgun in my Transam, moon roof open, 4 am - upon my humble request - he was singing this song. I was only 35 at the time. Million dollars can't buy that feeling.
