Masha’Allah. I repeat astaghfirullah al-Azeem a minimum of 7,000 daily with a weekly minimum of 70,000, plus extra if I am aware of a sin, like 5,000 extra for errors in salat, 10,000 for wandering gaze to save me from punishment in sha’Allah. I will strive to increase from 7k to 20k daily minimum between now and Ramadhan in sha’Allah. 7k takes me about 4 hours as I am quite slow, but I am blessed with plenty of time Alhamdulillah.
Allah swt can still give you blessings even with 10 minutes of Istighfar. Something is better than nothing and Allah swt is Al-Kareem. Always aim high but also keep your hopes high. Jazakillah khayr for the videos sister! Allah bless you ❤
@@allthingsjannah4325 Of course, but what I was talking about is those who want Allah swt to change their life completely, what I am telling them is to put the effort if you want something so huge from Allah swt such as him curing you from an incurable disease. Do not get me wrong, nothing is huge for Allah swt but the point is that we need to change and put the effort for Allah swt so that He changes our life. Allah swt said: Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of the people until they change what is within themselves. So we need to change and do better so that Allah swt changes our situation. Even if you persist in istighfar, if you do not change and continue to sin then you won't reap all the fruits of istighfar because Allah swt sent down the punishment for you to wake up and go to Allah swt, it is not just about you moving your tongue and lips, but rather you need to change. So I was talking to those who the shaytan has gotten to them and made them think that now they are righteous and they do not need to change and that Allah swt has to change their situation with them saying astaghfirullah few times as if they make the rules. Because some people are like that unfortunately, the shaytan got to them. May Allah swt guide them and that is why I am telling them that you must change and do better for Allah swt to change your situation. And plus the prophet pbuh said "Whoever persists in istighfar" so I didn't mean that you won't get benefits of istighfar with 1000 of istighfar, what I am saying is that it won't be the same as you persisting because the hadith is clear. And even to that person, I said you should thank Allah swt for the fact you are doing it 1000 times, so I am not saying it is nothing. Inshallah that clarifies it. Jazakallah khairan! Wa iyakom! It technically can, however: I lived the verse of istighfar with "Astaghfrullah" because it is shorter and easier to say and you will be able to do more of it. This doesn't mean you won't reap the fruits of istighar using a different one, but personally I didn't do it so I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between the two. However, because we have ALOT OF SINS, then that is why I advise everyone to say "Astaghfrullah" so that we can seek more forgiveness, and another thing, the longer one is personally harder for me to say and keep track while I am doing the chores/daily tasks. My advice is to stick with "Astaghfrullah" and believe me you will still reap the fruits of istighfar with it, you do not need a longer one.

@@mariamramazan5930 Ameen, wa iyakom. Actually even though all types of thikr is beautiful alhamdulillah, I didn't live the hawqala for me to talk about it. Cuz if I didnt live it then I wouldn't be able to help you and advise you, do you understand? You need to live a verse to be able to speak about it otherwise if people ask you questions, you wouldn't be able to answer them. Also another issue is that if we talk about hawqala, surat al baqarah, istighfar, salawat...and so on. People will end up taking everything and then dropping it all. So that is why inshallah I will focus with istighfar and surat al baqarah, especially istighfar because we are under a punishment for our sins and we will save ourselves by Allah's grace through istighfar. I highly encourage you to take istighfar so that Allah swt changes your life and make it beautiful inshallah!! May Allah swt bless you and increase you!
Thank you sister for addressing my concern. However, i take 4-8 hrs doing the selawat n istighfar, aft fajr n in-between prayers. Furthermore, i hv heard of the importance of focussing n doing istighfar slowly with concentration. Also, i am doing a longer version of istighfar, and its very hard to even hit my higher goals within the timeframe. 'La'ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kumtum minazholimin' and "allahuma inni dzolamtu nafsi dzulman kathiran kabira wala yagfiruz'zunuba illa anta faghfirlii maghfiratham min indek warhamni innaka antal ghafururrahim" So, yes, i do put alot of effort. Ofcourse i don't really count the numbers while doing chores as it will b difficult to hold counter while cutting onions tt wat i mean. Or difficult concentrate in a job while doing istighfar. Btw, im not sure wat apps u are referring to. Pls let me know . Thank you. ❤
@@AllahsServant12 With enough striving, Allah swt will make it easy for you. Just like how many people were unable to reach 30k in the beginning, later on Allah swt made it easy for them. So you strive for the sake of Allah and He will make it possible for you. But another thing is that it is okay to do it quickly as long as you are saying it correctly. We do not need to have a present heart. We do not need to say it slowly nor out loud, we just need to move our tongue and lips and say "astaghfirullah."
Is it really enough that I try my best to stay away from sins and just persist in istighfaar? Not for the whole part of while I do it... But just not the whole time that I have my heart present 🥺🙈
@@Medico_aliya I think that not being completely present is acceptable if you are busy. Something is much better than nothing, so keep up with zikr even if busy and thus not fully present. Allah knows that you are busy, so of course, He will make it easy for you, you have to trust Him. Allah knows best.

according to the Hadees .."“Whoever increases his prayers for forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, a way out from every hardship, and provide for him in ways he does not expect.” the word used was the near meaning of "Increases" , "in great number". It was not said anywhere in this hadess you need a present heart. plus you only can get astaghfar in great number like 20 thousad or thirty thousand , only if you pick the short astaghfar. like "Astaghfirullah or Astaghfirullah ul azeem "
