Before I saw this movie, I wasn't impressed with the cast. I didn't find them attractive. However, I came across it recently by chance and saw it and I like it a lot. I think it's kind of light and sweet and the two main guys did a great job. They have great chemistry. James works as the seme and Hirose as the uke. Hirose also has these somewhat "soft" gestures (possibly for the role.) He really brought in the female side of the relationship like being more sentimental about things. Between the two, I find Hirose stands out a bit more. He has a face that reminds me of both Kame and Wallace Hou. When I was watching him, I kept thinking of Wallace Hou. Anyways, it's a good movie and these two guys are great.
You didn't think they were attractive? lol I think they are both adorable, esp. the dark haired one. No, they don't look like they're all cut up with plastic surgery like Korean movie stars, but one would hope the acting and story were important too, not just their looks. smh

演技してない2人もかわいい！
2024年2月に初めてこの映画を見て、ハマりました！
何より、素晴らしいキャスティングで成功しましたよね！🙂
BLというジャンルを超えて、普通にすごく良い映画、ピュアで爽やかでハートをつかむ、普遍的な青春ストーリー。
作られた当時から10年近く経った今の時代に見ると、より自然に受け入れられるラブストーリーだと思うので、
今さらながら、遅れて知った自分のように、これから先もいろんな人に観てほしい名作だなぁと。
映画のDVDコンプリート版と原作漫画を入手、毎日暇があればどちらか観てますw

これを見て、素の２人のキャラ、雰囲気も、ほんと、この作品と主人公２人にぴったりだったんだなぁと感じました。
