- The Supreme Court on Friday limited the scope of an obstruction law used to prosecute Jan. 6 defendants and former President Donald Trump. Earlier in the morning, the Supreme Court handed down decisions in two other major cases - one allowing cities to enforce bans targeting homeless encampments and another overturning a landmark 40-year decision, curtailing federal agencies' power.

Criminalizing homelessness is horrific. DeSantis is already talking about homeless concentration camps. The writing is on all of the walls...has been for ages, now.
No it's about them camping in street that interfere with business
@@commanderbell1965no, it’s at the point now that you’re locked in. Hope you never have any issues or personal problems or even personal business that you don’t want the Right to be involved in. Just give up control to them now, that’s all they ask

This is horrible. The city of Tacoma are the worst. They pull up take everything they own and toss it in the truck and leave them with nothing.... And they wonder why they go and steel from stores to get new tents and other items. This city is so wrong. I would like to go to the people on the courts house and take everything they own and toss it to see how they feel to start over with nothing

Supreme court decision is great.
All Jan.6th protesters should get Amnesty. 2 years after the civil war confederates got amnesty.
J6 was an insurrection, not a civil war. Confederate were recognized as military soldiers. J6'ers were not.
These were not civil war confederates, they were haters following a deranged liar. You see honor in that? Those confederate men admitted and agreed to there treasonous acts and pledged to follow the laws of the constitution, after they lost a 4 year long war. Would Trumf followers? Would you? Great?
I agree with you but don't compare January 6th in any aspect to civil war good or bad it wasn't even close to the same thing
Amnesty…so they can do it again? 1/6 was a practice run.
Wear gloves so your knuckles don’t get hurt when they drag on the ground as you slither
I can understand the issues cities face with homeless people and this law if, the cities offer a cost-free alternative. If no alternative is offered, I feel that would render enforcing this law a violation of the 8th amendment.
Not bad at all!
This supreme Court is a big joke
How so?
@@TrollyLoollyI guess you’re not in the category of someone who has lost their civil liberties- yet.
Agreed
Only to the left, because they're getting their chit pushed in lol
@@sandyjohnson5111 killing babies isn't a civil liberty nor should be viewed as one
This ruling is cruel and unusual punishment. Cities can ban homeless people but that wont end homelessness. People will still be homeless but they will now be considered criminals for being homeless, and that criminal tag will make ending homelessness near impossible in our society.
Logic doesn't track. Y'all wanna ban guns to stop gun violence. Wouldn't banning homeless, under the same logic, reduce homelessness then? Lol
Wow
Wow what?

GOD don't like evilness
Isn't that what the tribal elves used to say thousands of years ago, before written language was invented?
Greatest day ❤
You like Russia don't you comrade?
Between this an Chevron decision, so much winning
Well apparently the supreme Court agrees that some of them are so innocent and so patriotic. So either you are saying the United States supreme Court is wrong about their interpretation of the law and that you know better than they do, or you must admit that both Trump and others are right and some of those people are innocent.

DEMOCRACY WINS AGAIN MAGA.
As an African American when Trump boast that African Americans and should be proud of his mug shot I feel disgusted by his statement.
What African country are you from? When did you become American? What has Biden ever done for you?
Our Creator, Jesus, was homeless. Jesus said, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”
Jesus, never once historically said that he was the son of god. That notion was created long after he was dead.
