I used my void Titan top tree and Synthoceps and totally dominated. Banked 96 motes in 2 rounds and never sent anything less than a 15 mote blocker. Used my melee nearly the entire time, absolutely destroyed. It's also an extremely fast way to collect remotes.

Auto Rifle: for trash adds
Shottie: for stronger adds
Sword: For invaders & for invading
Voidwalker+Blink+Transversive steps= low reload time with high mobility that makes you a very elusive hard to hit target
really fun and useful loadout on a Warlock
hell nah dont try to slash an invader unless u want ur ass oneshot by super or rocket

If you're good you can ABSOLUTELY send people with primary ammo to invade every time. I got over 30 guardian kills and most of those were primary ammo kills for example.
You want an easy strat for Gambit?
Go with 4 friends into Gambit.
3 people are taking weapons for PVE in the second and third weapon slot. In first slot should be a weapon which can 1. kill mobs efficiently and 2. can deal with invaders.
1 guy takes full PvP equip to invade the enemy side and annoy them as much as possible.
I'm currently using Midnight Coup which is good for mob clear and can deal with invaders, IKELOS shotgun which is also very versitale and Whisper to deal with the bosses at the end.
This is my ideal loadout for PvE
See, this guy gets it. I run Midnight/Ikelos Shotty/Whisper most of the time anyway.
But in the sake of Gambit, I run Sleeper Simulant over Whisper for Invaders. It's easier for me to shoot and it's a 1-shot regardless.
I run the same thing, but for hive change shotty to an energy sniper for the ridiculous shriekers.
Too bad everyone doesn't have those weapons like myself who doesn't have a clan nor friends to play with I'm on Xbox One and would like to join a clan and make friends but I haven't had any luck. It's tough to get through Gambit knowing a premade 4 man team with those weapons is against you which 90% of the time means you lose especially if they have much higher power levels.
Played my first match today, and watched 3 video guides. This was clearly the best. Lots of info explaining the game. I'd say you must watch this before going in the first time. 👍
The Coldheart is the best weapon for Gambit.
Tons of hours on Gambit and crucible, but too be honest, Gambit would be a lot better without invasion part, leave pvp out of it
That would make it kinda boring and easier. If invasion wasn't a thing, it would be like the Sundial or the Forges. Also, Invaders aren't invincible. I personally love invading

Highly suggest RiskRunner since both cabal and fallen use arc weapons, I run riskrunner, perfect paradox, and a nade launcher and that seem to do great

I played my first Gambit yesterday without any idea of what it was. It did not go well. I did not know where to bank, what loadout to use or even what to expect. Yes, I should have watched this video first! Thank-you for a great video. Next time at least I will know how to bank my motes! Whew!
Okay cool. I tried Gambit for the first time recently and I had no idea what the heck was going on.
He forgot to mention. Only use your heavy on the primevil when the slayer buff is x7 or above to do the most damage.
You can have a designated invader if you let them keep loaded. It's not that hard to pull off.
Do I need the buy the dlc to play gambit today?
1 year late but I have an awesome strat:
-Use Symmetry
-Build 15 dynamic charges from ads
-Invade
-Switch to Revolution mode
-Get some free kills lol xD

Hell yeah I got a 10 win streak in gambit! SLEEPER SIMULANT IS INSANE FOR DPS! I’m not great at pvp but adding pve to pvp is so fun!

Should I be worrying about what element of AI enemies the drifter picks? If the enemies are vex, should I be using solar or whatever element they're weak to? I can't seem to melt ANY enemy at any point. I use shot guns, snipers etc, what else am I doing wrong?

That tip with banking your motes so you don’t stack too many is spot on! I once invaded a team that had 2 people with 15 motes one guy with 11 and another with 6, i got a team kill with one magazine of my sniper. They were destroying us with collection of motes until that point where they just couldn’t recover and we wiped the floor with them. It was a clan too haha.

Does your guide include how to be an Invader kill farming scrub while not touching your prime evil for 25+ minutes? Cause I've seen the images of you and your team doing this.

I don't have the IKEOLOS shotgun nor Sleeper because i was way behind on Warmind by the time Forsaken came out. I have no friends or a clan to help me do the last steps for EP so facing players in Gambit with the Sleeper is sooooo annoying! They should seriously Nerf the damn thing because it makes invading effortless and that breaks the experience imo. I'm not much of an Invader other than using Nova Warp but I am exceptionally good at killing the PvE mobs and banking motes then someone invades and easily cross maps me with 1 shot to the body, that's total bullshit in my opinion. I am only 517 light (in one week) which makes a difference of course but I'm facing full premade teams with 540+ light and that also breaks the experience. I really like Gambit but the matchmaking and weapon balance makes it really infuriating. I have a crucible KD of 1.8 but dealing with Sleeper and higher light levels makes that irrelevant. There needs to be a matchmaking fix. Especially solo queueing versus 4 man teams. I'm open to joining any Xbox One clans if there are any out there, I've played D1 and D2 since Vanilla, my character is 4 years old if that proves anything.
Weird i figured that the long charge time would be the thing does that weapon in Gambit.
I was playing with people who would hoard 15+ motes, then die. Ruined the game. Plz deposit your motes as soon as you get 5+. Don’t be a greedy teammate.

I didn't catch it if it was mentioned in the video, but is there any benefit to banking your motes WITH another teammate at the same time? In other words, say I have 10 motes and a teammate has 5, if we both deposit at the same time, does that send a LARGE blocker to the enemy team or just one medium and one small blocker?
Damn the bows are trash. Such a slow time to kill. Notice how whe he invaded he shot several times and got 1 KILL. Then used the titan super and didnt kill anything. 10 seconds......one kill. Fuck that

I think they should delete wormhusk but instead buff Hunter dodge hear me out the dodge that gives you melee energy that dodge should be reworked so it gives you a tiny little bump to shield not a lot but just a little bit and make your fucking movement speed faster because they're supposed to be the fastest and slowest but Titans and kinda warlocks beat them in speed like wtf so give them a speed boost so you can choose between this dodge or the reload dodge I think it'd be a nice buff to hunters but get rid of wormhusk idk I think it would maybe it might have problems idk anyone else got another idea?

I started playing my first gambit and I've been getting the worst teams I feel like. I've gotten like 40-50 motes and my team can't do shit
4 from a clan , rat kings an 1 sleeper, tether and blade barrage i dont know ive had some crushing defeats n vice versa . the chemistry has to be so in tune. i go in with randoms and somtimes i feel like no ones shooting blockers or the envoy lol. ne else?
Maybe it just wasn't a thing at the time of this video. But you didn't mention how to heal the prime. That was my whole purpose of watching g a guide.

I have to admit that it was fun but I never saw the invader and I m pretty sure he smoked me at least once . I think it was 92 kills and guess what I used ....telesto when I could , better Devils and a RalphLauren
when u get notified ur being invaded just take cover for a few seconds and locate the invader, if u try to find him by just running around chances are he will kill you very easily and u wont even see it coming

I agree with most of these but the whole not having a super or any heavy, special etc isn't exactly totally accurate I invade with bygones all the time and I often get 4 players, the only thing now that thunderlord is a thing it's almost impossible to invade without heavy ammo NOW! but I hope it gets nerfed a little cause rn it's fucking ridiculous....

There's only one auto tracking rocket launcher in the game
MrAlbie1970 and its slow as shit too
I actually got Bad Omens from Gambit with both Tracking and Cluster bomb perks (luckily) and it has much higher velocity than Roar of the Bear from IB but these are random roll Launchers from Forsaken but from Vanilla/Curse of Osiris D2 there is also the Morrigan-D and Zenobia-D. Check your collection for these or wait for a random roll for the Forsaken launchers. I believe both Morrigan-D and Zenobia-D are from the gunsmith, at least they used to be. I'm not sure if he still drops them but they both have Hakke Precision Frame which grants tracking so if either one are in your Collection then you will definitely have a tracking launcher but like I said you can get a random roll from Forsaken launchers as well.

The major problem is that they come out with limited content without much variety like only 2-3 new maps, Strikes, one new nightfall, no new enemies, not enough additions to current enemy abilities, etc... Stop running us through the same maps then running us through them backwards, doing the same stories, missions, adventures and other shit over and over again. It’s disgusting laziness to keep doing that. They don’t want to put in the work not to give us repetitive game play but they want our money. My friends playing Gambit only did it for a few games then started playing other modes in Destiny 2. Even the new prisoners look just like the old enemies, they were too lazy to make them look unique and new. They are also real easy to kill which was a disappointment.
You didn't say where Gambit is?
Invading with primary ammo is perfectly fine, you just have to know what you’re doing. Likewise, designating the same invader every time, is a great idea. You just have to play the mechanics and not be a scrub.
Gambit can be hella annoying when people spawn camp the invaders

Today in gambit i got into kind of same group of people least couple of times, and we worked out where one of us would collect 15 which can be done fairly quickly given that the other three are killing. And so we during few matches constantly blocked the other team with large blockers, How well when the first person with 15 goes back and you move to next area you are all ready killing and gathering motes for the next person. you can keep this going fairly easy. through out the first 60 we didn't send attackers once at 60 we sent one guy while we gathered the last 15 to make last block, Then we had ourselves in a rotation to be attackers and out of the 5 rounds like this only 1 time where it failed.
You know it's called adventure missions too, right? You can also level up on story missions and adventure missions also. I love you dude, but that's what most people are going to do first before anything else and we get plenty of time to do something to do more level. Public events is not the answer to these level ups. Although it is a good idea, but people are going to be busy in the story missions and adventure missions. I'll take your advice about getting the rare items, but I'm gonna keep some weapons with me in case if I'm gonna use weapon or not. But, I can do my flashpoints before the story missions, that's part of your advice as well.
also dont jump into the other side and use your super your screw your team over if its neck n neck
Naw not really not if u use it at the right time but normally when I go to the other side I use a bow and I actually saved r asses by using the super plenty of times
What’s a blocker? Taken enemies that appear when your bank is disabled and retracted into the ground. You can make them show up for your enemy by simply banking motes.
Fighting lion and perfect paradox have been working wonders for me 7 games and i lost 2 and im pritty shit at destiny. But transversive steps to help reload and fighting lion killing groups of low tear adds and always droping special witch keeps my shotgun full and a rocket for when ppl invade idk about running it as an invader but as a collecter it was great even got a kill on an invader with my shotgun so your not screwed if you run out of heavy
You should go to io in destiny 2 near the black spindle mission. Enemy’s that can’t be killed have appeared. Recommended light was 480
Hey Rick and everyone else watching the mida multi-tool exotic scout rifle is actually amazing at invading and it's really easy to get too I recommend you try it but any scout rifle is good at invading I found along with bows and anything with range actually is really good
hey rick, i was perusing through gambit today and i found out that you can actually get more than four kills. I was sentinel and had a 3k and I lined to more guys up and shield bashed both of them and wound up with a 5k and actually got credit for all five. The vid is on my channel for proof.
Was fun , liked it way better than crucible . I got 93 kills ! My teammates took care of the invader and I never went and lost 7 motes

Ya primary is accualy alot more useful during invades than you claim. You can easily wipe the team with an auto rifle without a single problem, and you're saveing good ammo for the boss.
BAR Chaosmaster339 I easily wiped an invader who found me hiding one on one and i was hip firing with the skyburners oath.

That could be true for you but that's rare from my experience though I've only played about 35-40 games, most people use Supers or crazy Pulse Rifles (which could be considered a "primary".) About 85% of the time I am cross mapped with a fucking Sleeper Simulate which is getting really old real quick, it's so effortless. Also Power level makes a huge difference in my opinion so it could make alot of weapons seem efficient in certain situations.
Sleeper is counters by snipers bows and scouts easily. If you're really haveing that much of a problem with it you probably shouldn't be in gambit.
@@barchaosmaster339 I expected that typically generic "get good" type of reply, I respect your opinion but generally speaking snipers nor bows other than Whisper aren't efficient in Gambit and just using a bow or sniper for the sole purpose of countering 1 weapon is poor balancing.

I have 2 bounties for killing High Value Targets (one where I need to kill one, the other where I have to kill 2) and I’ve killed two and the bounties aren’t tracking the progress. What up with that?
Must be doing it in the wrong mode. I did this too. Some are specific like, kill 3 guardians in gambit prime. Doing normal gambit won't count and vise versa.
I can telling right now that 2/3 of the community is gonna be TRASH at this game mode, frfr
