In illustration 6, in the module the amounts of goodwill in 2nd entry and amounts of debentures in 4th entry is different from the one sir thaught which should be followed? Which is right?

Bhavya, The amount of Goodwill is different because the question in the module is asking for the books of Vendor company and the company is transferring its assets to realisation account. And here Sir is teaching the books of Purchasing company just because he wants a question for that. So he chooses to solve Q6.

@Bhavya Mehta Ya Sorry, I missed to see that part. I agree with you. And We as per my opinion we should do the ques as per module. Actually the amount of Goodwill is different because of the Debentures thing only. Sir has reduced the number of debentures because of the increased amount of per debenture. But it should be taken as the increase in Total Amount of Debentures. That's why it have got the difference and if you solve it otherwise,i.e, according to the module. It gets correct just after changing debentures amount.
