These tickets are so hard to win on… there 1 and every 4 I think but it feels like 1 and every 10 lol

I hear you, the $1 tickets are always the worst. I’m just glad we got that one good win!

If it wasn’t for that one solid win I’m in the exact same boat! Wishing you luck in the future!

The 5 times lucky ticket in my opinion is just an Instant Take 5 ticket remastered without the free play, lower winning odds, subtracted $555 from the top prize, but at least they put in a 10 dollar bonus and a multiplier.

Yeah it seems like most $1 tickets are a small variation from one another. Potential for a multiplier is definitely always fun!

Never got the lucky symbol...an urban legend perhaps

May give these a try one day but not chomping at the bit in the immediate future to do so. That one specific ticket was particularly clutch, indeed!
After all my best win to-date back in Nov. 2011 or 2012 on a holiday 7s $1 ticket for a $600 single match did happen which was nuts. I still have said ticket as a souvenir but haven't looked at it in awhile which is why I can't 100% recall which of the couple years it was. I'd dig it out if you were ever curious to see it given the rarity, even by today's NYL standards.

That is very cool! I have always felt like I would want to keep the physical ticket of any major winner.

@@ScratcherTherapy I've got a decent sum from over the years. More in the past than present I'd oftentimes get some spiel from wherever I went to cash along the lines of "Oh, that's not allowed." or "That's illegal, actually." [FYI, no it's not!] or others would claim they had to tear the barcode first butchering said ticket as if by magic you'd be able to otherwise get paid off again elsewhere, etc. until I established a good rapport at a place but as a result I've some that had to be Scotch taped. In retrospect it's laughable some of the stuff I'd heard or went through but that's just how things were back at the time. 😅

Telling you it’s illegal is pretty wild 😂

@@ScratcherTherapy The way certain retailers/agents tried to twist themselves into a pretzel by using cockamamie excuses such as was a weird time. In going deeper into scratch-off history dating back to before there was the barcode system to check and cash tickets we take for granted nowadays and the last couple decades give or take, long ago individual stores would stamp the back of tickets to identify where it was sold from and despite the fine print of NYL (to my knowledge) always being that long as a place was a licensed retailer you could redeem your winnings no matter where at some would deny you outright and say bring it to where it was originally purchased instead, and I know this because given my features have skewed to showing older than I may have once been when a late Aunt of mine would send me to pick up Newports and play her Numbers for her, and in turn I'd get a couple bucks for the Good Humor ice cream truck or something. I was probably like 11 or 12 at the time in the early '90s when, if you remember, bags of chips and those Kool-Aid type drinks that came in by it's design what looked like miniature plastic barrels for $0.25 each. It was a simpler era that you cannot help but sometimes miss with all of today's domestic & international chaos.

That’s is all very interesting! I didn’t play at all before the barcodes were in place. I definitely remember the juices in the plastic barrel though! I think they’re called Hugs. I may be wrong though.
