Good game, my main annoyance was CHO turning around on an great attack in the closing minutes, to play safe and count down the clock. It wasted just 20 seconds, at the cost of what was a promising chance of a goal and 3 points, with two Forest players in their area.
Guess which referee reffed this game. Rob Jones Guess which referee reffed the Bournemouth game in which Boly got sent off. Rob Jones Guess which referee was on VAR in the Man U game when Worrall got sent off. Robert flipping Jones.
i love the team being unbeaten, i loved having them never behind in a match, but i love them being top ten even more - and even more than that, i love seeing them really playing together as a team. i just hope they take each game week as it comes and stay focused...
4 points away to Liverpool and Brighton, is a huge improvement in our away form. No need for massive changes, impact subs are a must in this day and age. Great squad compared to the last 3 seasons. COYR
Keep and a striker are a must, though I do wonder if we should or if we have to wait for June so we have the whole of 25/26 budget to invest. At that point Woods Salary comes off as well if we don’t renew (or reduces as new contract would surely be less).
Staying unbeaten increases confidence but obviously youd rather have wins than draw a load of games. I thought we were poor from their equaliser to ours tbh. I didnt agree with the subs as they were totally controlling the midfield and I'd have gone 4-3-3 and brought Yates and Dominguez on but maybe Nuno thought Brighton had a lot of the ball but werent doing much with it? I cant really complain though as his subs have got us a point when I couldnt see us getting anything before we equalised tbh. As for the red card, if he'd made his mind up straight away then I wouldnt be as angry but its like he reacted to what the Brighton bench and Taylor said and changed his mind. As for Sels, you cant drop him when we're unbeaten. Dropping him could totally unsettle the defensive unit and you could bring Miguel in and if we lost to Fulham everyone would be blaming that. Until Sels is making consistent, costly mistakes you have to keep him in
Our 42 game unbeaten run contained a lot of draws, mainly from the second season. We only had three losses in that second but eighteen draws was far too many. Still, it is better than the losses we have been suffering in the last couple of seasons.
Agree on the positives. This is also the first time in game 5 weve scored more then 1 goal a game, so cracking time to get a second one this weekend to remain unbeaten against a side that has spent close to 200 million this summer on their squad, dont see the media going nuts about that like they did for us... As for dropping sels no way. I saw enough of miguel pre season and newcastle to see his kicking is dodgy as turners. Sels lifts so much pressure off the backline with his accurate distribution. Throwing miguel in will be back to panic stations playing out from the back. I will say again for the dreamers in the chat, miguel and kicking is nowhere near what sels does for us. Nuno used to be a goalkeeper, nuno knows what a goalkeeper has to do this day and age, he hasnt got that call wrong
I agree his kicking is really under rated because we break fast and dont knock it around at the back for 20 minutes people think he isnt a good passer. Elanga predicts the flight better he’s 1 on 1 and Sels gets an assist
Roy Keane was very critical of Sels conceding from Welbeck's free kick. I agree,I think we could do better. Elanga was disappointing again and Anderson was crowded out and hardly got a kick. Yates got his foot on the ball and made some crucial interceptions and clearances late on when Brighton upped the pressure. Nuno definitely an upgrade on Cooper as a manager
I feel slightly better than I did around 5pm! Still think there were a lot of dodgy performances today. I dunno about Sels, Aina seemed lost at times, both starting wingers were poor in general. Jota & Sosa looked good & I wouldn't be against both starting against Fulham. Jota should start in the MGW role. Murillo & Milenkovic were great again. Getting the draw is definitely a positive. COYR

@@thefootballpunneditwe scored our second goal without Wood and last week we scored without Wood. We're not reliant on Wood for goals but he offers something different when needed and can always get you a goal
I've said multiple times right from the very start that Carlos Miguel should be in goal and given a fair chance to prove himself, because being permanently sat on the subs bench will not be doing him, us, or his confidence any good at all. I've also said a few times on previous videos that Jota Silva needs to be playing as a Striker. He is more than capable of fulfilling that position, and he clearly has the ambition and burning desire to do so.
I disagree with you on something, whats the point of the fans opening a convo about Wood , or criticize him. We dont have another striker, i think you are the only one who believe Taiwo can play in top level again. . We have to just support and boost Wood with confidence and pray he stays healthy and confident to carry us until December. If December we buy a striker, the convo about Wood can reopen but for now we just risking on making Wood less confident if we start criticize him.
We can't get a pacy striker until January,so we're stuck with a choice between Wood and Silva(Awoniyi's non-appearance yet again makes me feel that he simply isn't seen as fit enough.) Silva has played as a winger primarily or a striker NOT a number 10.
How the hell can Anthony Taylor be taken off referring duties for the weekend, end up being the 4th official for Brighton v Forest match, and then being allowed to make a decision to change the main referee's actions.
