If there's anything I want Disney to do, it's to bring him back to Canon. He's way too much of a badass to not exist in Canon.
I think he got saved in a last minute ditch effort by clone wars figures. He's pretty rare but they made a rendition of him in the clone wars figure line.

In a way it kind of is canon, Volume 1 takes place after episode 2. They already knew who ventures was in the reboot. Ashoka left the Jedi temple so that explains why we don’t see her in Volume 2. Also that montage with Anikin is supposed to take place before THE Clone Wars.

The clone wars show contradicts this show. Even though Disney does mess up the canon, it was George who resulted in this being legends. At least I think.

It contradicted the timeline at multiple points. The jedi are OP to the point that it makes Episode 2s climax nonsensical (IE "these jedi would have ended the war right there" level OP)

The first generation of ARCs did not have the inhibitor chip and were thus more independent, in fact a lot of them were offered retirement after the clone wars, with some becoming instructors to train storm troopers, others retiring and some even following in Jango' s footsteps and becoming bounty hunters. It is also possible depending on his opinion of the Jedi that Fordo flat out disobeyed order 66 all together.

In 2003 there was no inhibitors. It was like that until felony with his TCW came and retconned all over the Prequels EU.

Difference between fordo and rex is that Fordo is the elite of the elite and only carries secret missions without a jedi. Unlike rex who is stationed with a jedi all the time. Fordo and his crew never had a true jedi commander leading them except for Kenobi for 3 missions. While Rex had anakin all the time in their missions
John Lee Zhen what about on Umbara when he successfully completed his mission AND killed a traitor Jedi (who was his commander at the time)

Will never get over the fact that this literally wielded a DC-15A blaster one handed with what probably wasn't even his dominant hand, and held back a column of B2 Super Battle Droids for a short time. No doubt he was an ARC Trooper.

@@ulty1472 All 3 actually. We didn’t get lots of screentime for Blackout, but since he had the Jaig eyes, I’m sure he was an excellent commander. Fordo and Rex both deserve it guaranteed.

As someone who grew up around the time AOTC came out and all the accompanying comics, books, videogames and cartoons about the Clone Wars, I'm honestly surprised how little content Fordo was in aside from those episodes in the old Clone Wars series. Especially when you think of how popular ARC Troopers are like Alpha, Echo and Fives, and then you have Fordo who was kinda the original badass.

Gendry T should've involve or make another SW animated series like "Clone Wars 2003." It's actually my personal favorite SW animated series. His story/plot structure, the art style, & the animations are just so well suited for Star Wars. It damn well guaranteed will be better & more epic than Disney's Rebels ...
I mean it was made by the same animator that did Samurai Jack so of course it was going to be good
I know right? The clone wars series was pretty cool with its diverse personal stries but overall it fit star wars less in my opinion than the old one. I dont think clones were meant to have diverse backstories. They were killing machines in an epic space wars. Also it gave a better story for Grevious. And well...the action was just gorgeous even being as old as it is.
Another show would be great, but the only problem I had (compared to the 2008 show, at least) is that it gave zero depth to the characters. The clones seemed rather expendable, with absolutely no personalities, and provided little growth for most (except Grevious, as I prefer his calculating, cunning self as apposed to the canon one. And the droids, because the way they talk in TCW bugs me a bit).
You can rebate this if you want, after all I haven't seen a lot of this show, only small clips, but it seems to me that the real reason people love it so much is the intense action (which I can agree with, to some extent).
But of course...we can all agree that it's superior to Rebels.
Swaggasaurus there were a bit of it. Just like in this video. But again too little time. Gendry's Clone Wars 2003 is probably only amount to 1-2 hours (if I remember). The Character developments is more on Jedi-sith characters especially Anakin & Obi Wan. Meanwhile the 3D The Clone Wars has many episodes & seasons, so of course the character developments are more well spread.

The arcs especially the null arcs were sorta infamous for deserting and/or not following order 66; but if you try to mix the old legends with disneys legends weird statements happen
Before Dave filoni version there is no inhibitor chip ..star wars 2003 actually continue with dark horse comic ..heck even both genndy and dark horse comic managed to do accurate depiction of ARC trooper

Loved the video, and Fordo was my favourite clone growing up, but there were actually at least three clones with the Jag Eyes, Fordo, Rex, and the stealth ship commander from when Anakin took on Admiral Trench! Have a great day!

COOLNESS !! Fordo was my very first favourite Clone Trooper. Back before MOST people became fans of it, the first instalment of the Clone Wars, sometimes referred to as the 2D Micro Series, Frodo’s heroics caught my eye and instantly became fascinated with the Clone Wars micro series and got right back into collecting the figures again. To be fair, it was only once the Clone Wars 3D series came along that the 3.75 inch figures by Hasbro TRULY became detailed, well-made figures. My daughter and I have managed to collect hundreds of various Clone Troopers of different variety… I wish we had kept some of them in their packaging. What those are fetching these days is incredible. It nearly makes me ill that I didn’t have the insight at the time to keep some of those in their packaging. 😩

The 03 clone wars TV series is the better than anything Disney has made. I mean I like rebels but the fact that the Jedi were obviously better than the droids and the troopers had actual aim other than when the plot demanded it? Definitely should've lasted longer. They need to bring it back

For us both him and Rex are separate characters in the same universe aka timeline. Regarding order 66, we like to think that he went through with it because he had no choice, but would later snap out of it as an imperial and join the rebellion. After all, head canon is what matters most ;)

Tytthf Gbughh no he was a commander a squad of arc troopers. Shock troopers were either the red stormtroopers which weren’t clones or the coruscant guards during the clone wars
