I really miss Margaret. Craig and Victoria are great too, but I really miss her presence as an older woman, since I am a younger woman myself. Her tone always seemed so sage and calm and comforting. I still go back to some of her videos to help ease my anxiety when I can’t sleep. I remember in one she says, “honey, you are not that unloveable” in reference to the fear that our exs would just forget about us. It made me burst into tears to hear that. I really thought I was that unloveable until she said it. I also really miss when she’d bring in an article to read.

I'm focusing on my income, volunteering at the animal shelter, fostering animals, getting my CDL to drive trucks, controlling my anxiety, and working through past trauma so I don't repeat the same emotionally unavailable mistakes again if my ex comes back, or if I find someone else. I want to create a life I am happy with, and that another person thinks "I want to be part of this guys life"
I had a Skype call with Craig this morning. He really helped me see things more clearly. He said some things to me that were tough to hear in the moment but I feel so much better and more confident now that I’ve spoken with him.
She permanently ghosted me 14 months ago, waited 10 months before moving on, and is now in a new relationship that's officially lasted longer than we did. There's no chance of getting her back and at this point I don't want her back anymore either.

To anyone going through the guilt and shame of knowing you could have done better to be the best version of yourself just know life is a journey and not a destination. A partner should complement your life not be your life. If you put in the work to better yourself you will attract new love. Don’t obsess on the idea that “if only you could woulda shoulda”. The reality is it wasn’t that time for you and your life. Own your issues and better yourself and you WILL prevail. True love is not easily replaced. If it was meant to be it will come back and if not you will find the person that’s right for you. The worst emotion is hopeless and I feel it stems from making your self worth be based on someone wanting you. Invest in yourself and build up your worth for you and you will see it radiates and humans are wise to seeing things of value. You can do this. I myself am going thru it. I have been here before. Having been thru this before I can tell you every relationship has come after I worked on myself and every relationship has been a better fit than the one prior. It does get better. Trust me!

Don't tell them, just remove urself, if they ask for friendship just politely deny it and remove urself from them. How gave things worked out for you? Did you stick to no contact? I don't think there is a specific span of time it can take months to years from what I can tell. The point is to work on yourself. It might speed things up if you cut off the mutual friend though as your ex can probably keep tabs on you through them.

She texted me to see how I was doing so after a few text back and fourth I called her and invited her over to make dinner with me that following Sunday and she did. At first she said she just wanted to be friends but I kept making her laugh and being a little flirty. Wasn’t Until about 2 hours in when we started making out and she stayed the night. We had 3 solid rounds. Went to the beach the next morning and it was as if we never broke up. Couldn’t keep our hands off each other even at the beach. Dont post anything on social media how happy you are or how bad u are, just, isolate urself from the world a few weeks or months and become the best versio, an ex will come back, if my avoidant one came back contacting me 10x after every wrong move I did, there is hope for you if ur willing to focus on urself

How does it work when both partners are watching this and both are practicing no-contact and moving on? Seems like DIW-Dead in the Water. Others preach disarming the anger then go into contact, which seems logical and emotionally-sound - at a minimum.

How gave things worked out for you? Did you stick to no contact? I don't think there is a specific span of time it can take months to years from what I can tell. The point is to work on yourself. It might speed things up if you cut off the mutual friend though as your ex can probably keep tabs on you through them.
@@dailymotion1995 haha I broke NC 2 months ago. Best decision I’ve made. She texted me to see how I was doing so after a few text back and fourth I called her and invited her over to make dinner with me that following Sunday and she did. At first she said she just wanted to be friends but I kept making her laugh and being a little flirty. Wasn’t Until about 2 hours in when we started making out and she stayed the night. We had 3 solid rounds. Went to the beach the next morning and it was as if we never broke up. Couldn’t keep our hands off each other even at the beach. We’re not official as of now but since then she’s dropped every other guy she was talking to and I told her I’m not in a rush to get back into a relationship with her. That’s a lie of course but it’s working really well in my favor as of now as we’re hanging out a lot, regularly going to the gym together and we’re having sex 3 to 6 times a week.

That was us we talked marriage family building we were together year and a half happy traveling then he became depressed from his immediate family and loss of grandparents and his parents became sick and then he’s an avoidant attachment style and he took it out on our relationship. So he suddenly broke it off he told me to let go he will always run he’s okay with us never seeing each other ever again it hurts like hell but I’m giving him exactly what he wants

There is no talk about a farewell letter, to pull the dumpee away from the dumper to make them miss them.
Sounds like a contradiction. Do you want to walk away and never look back or you are trying to lure them back into the relationship?! If the latter - any letter would be unnecessary. It won’t help. Did it on several occasions. It falls on a deaf ear of the dumper… No contact is a recipe.
