Mercedes W123- SLS and pneumatic issues.

In this video I take a look at a cool old Mercedes-Benz 300 Turbo Diesel.
It needed a new exhaust but also had issues with the self leveling system (SLS) that makes the car retain its ride hide on the rear no matter how much luggage it caries.
The car also has a complicated vacuumed system that controls locks and other stuff- it was not working, and I try to diagnose the fault.

There is no dashboard sensor for the SLS system. You have to manually check fluid levels

No light for low brake fluid or SLS fluid.

This W123 have quite a few electrical stuff that is not really working right... ;)

@@SeasideGarage Yes I understand that - but these cars are worth saving. What I meant was, the brake light is a 'wear sensor' for pads, not fluid. Also there is no SLS low fluid warning light.

@@VishalVoraUK There is a wear sensor light, the yellow one but I think he meant the red light for the parking brake which doubles as brake fluid level light.
