Yes, he is a true competitor 😄 In was honestly unexpected that Nathan Adrian won gold but he swam such an amazing race in London 2012. He killed the last 15 meters.
It was a combination of Adrian swimming an incredible last 15 and Magnussen swimming an AWFUL last 15. Magnussen breathes both ways (not sure if out of exhaustion or to double check he was in front?) and had NO KICK in the last 10 metres. Compare it to Adrian's kick in the last 15 it looks like he's swimming a 50. Truly inspiring.
@@ohseanswims7539 It's just that it's more exciting if you have the professional commentators giving the background before and during the race it's more exciting. Especially when you hear the crowd cheering. Commentators also give you times and context and remarks on the individual swimmers. Swimming is a really exciting sport. Sorry should have commented with more reasonable comments.

His relay split anchor in Rome was fabulous (46.79 !! ) . He held back both the french and the Russians for the win .
