In the words of Gary John Bishop "What happened to you when you were nine doesn't define you. The bagel you had this morning for breakfast doesn't define you... You're defined by what you're about to do." James, you've shown me and many others what's possible by getting up, and getting in action. So great. I have thoroughly enjoyed your journey, and good job supporting the great causes you're supporting. I've been enthralled with gyroplanes for a few years, you've further fueled that. As soon as I complete my IFR, I'll do my gyro rating. Thank you!
Welcome home. I am so glad you made it. I talked with you at the EAA convention in Wisconsin. I was the one who flew one of the original Benson BM8 Gyros with a 90HP Mac engine. I envy your trip and would love to do it myself. Every time you took off my heart rate picked up as if I were sitting in the cockpit with you. Someday I hope I can meet you AGAIN.
After seeing your videos, I'm going to take advantage of the huge Gyro community here in Pasco County, FL, and get involved with rotorcraft flying! I'm a fixed wing guy, but my first love has always been rotorcraft! Thank you and God Bless you for your willingness to reach for the unexpected!!
Congratulation James, You are on the world Wall of Fame. Very nicely done. I was always exited to whatch your videos. ,,,From Canada We Love you. Best of best from Rolly
Well done mate. I was engineer for Global Eagle in 2002 when we broke the world record for longest flight from lands end to John o groats and the unfortunately terminated attempt to fly around the globe. I knew it could be done.
That is such an amazing accomplishment! Who would have thought a guy could fly around the world in a gyrocopter? Certainly not me. Congratulations, James. It's been an absolute pleasure following along with you. Cheers!
Great journey and great shots! You are a real hero James! It is incredible to start this trip and finish it! I have been never seen before how to maintain a gyrocopter also.
Amazing ,Incredible, Enlightening And back Safe. More than well done James , Marvellous Videos and music great Narration. Thank you for sharing this Superb experience. I'm still trying for my Licence at 43 hrs in, so different from fixed wing, very much in Slow motion, will I ever get there to be finished.
Well that bloody sucks balls. I've missed the whole thing. I will go back to the start and watch it from the start. I'm only just down the 303 from you.
So Awesome! I have been watching the last few months. I don't even know you but I was saying YEAH! when you were coming in. Big Day for Gyros Too. Will you donate the machine to a Flight Museum? Congratulations from Colorado!
C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S👍👍 What an epic journey and thank you for letting us tag along!! All the very best! (one question I have, would it have been possible to have an enclosed cockpit or would that not be feasible?).

An enclosed cockpit and cabin heat would be a must for this old bird.
Respect!!
Did watch the entire thing and did like it great contend.

An amazing feat. Congratulations! How did the 914 perform for you on this remarkable trip?
I like your videos... but I was wondering why you don't have an enclosed cockpit?
C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S👍👍 What an epic journey and thank you for letting us tag along!! All the very best! (one question I have, would it have been possible to have an enclosed cockpit or would that not be feasible?).
Would you ever think about taking a group around the world?
explain your back seat set up. I want to fly cross country in a duel seat.
Hi James amazing achievement!how many hours on the Hobbs did you finnish on?
well done mate , nice suit where did you get it from?
IDE love to the flight path superimposed on a Gleasons Equidistant Map....should be awesome ‼️‼️😉👊🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You should have used a closed cockpit
How about a summery of your around the world trip. Cost, why an open gyro and not a enclosed, scariest moment, funniest moment...etc
Great videos! Are you the first person to fly a gyro around the world?
Congratulations!
Next be the first to fly a gyrocopter over the North Pole!
I can't understand why autogyros are not more popular :- \
Do it again but the southern hemisphere.
Well done! Now do it in an electric aircraft!
WHY Not a roof on the gyrocopter?!
Good 1‼️
👍🏼👍🏼
What I see is talk and talk and talk, I was hoping for adventurous flying scenes
The cameraman was chewing gum... Annoying!
Stop saying the world and say the western world because that's what you did. The top half not the bottom half with the greater land mass.
BS he flew across the ocean...
