...while I am not crazy about the carrot in a bun (I don't eat bread), I think this points out that Americans are WAY too hung up on eating meat. I cook mostly vegan (not because I oppose eating meat, I just don't like how $$$) it is, and have surprised many a guest at my house with all vegetarian meals that they found tastier and more filling than expected. Eating plant based doesn't mean that anything is missing yall. Except for toxic hormones, plastics ingested by the animals, etc....
honestly, I'm in an American family that eats a lot of meat but I wouldn't care if I had to eat vegan dishes for a while. I'm not disagreeing with you though, I have seen a lot of people get so hung up about not having meat, and "if there isn't meat it isn't a proper meal." Like damn, what is wrong with my country.
Well in my case, I am a very very picky eater. I try eating more stuff but I just can't tolerate it. Even onions. I had a burger the other day at a restaurant and I said no onions and they ignored that and I had to take them all off because I tried to eat them and gagged and almost spit it out. Meat is really the only thing that I can eat without complaining. I like very few vegetables and fruits, pasta if there is no chunks of tomato (but I still prefer meat in it, like spaghetti and meatballs) I do not like salad, and I don't even like the crust of pizza half the time. If someone wants to he vegan, good for them, but with how small of a diet I am willing to eat, 95% of it is meat and I'd rather not live off of bread and fruits.

ikr.. I ain't vegan but there's some damn good vegan meals out there. I mean.. carrot dog... I am genuinely sobbing.
Oh, for Cthulhu's sake? I am a proud Omnivore (who enjoys delicious meat), but I can make Vegan food way more delicious than "Carrot in a hot dog bun."
How about a dang bean and avocado burrito or something like that? Vegetarian/vegan, but actually something that doesn't make 99% of the population gag
Yeah
Oh god… If she’s doing this here she’s probably she’s forcing her kids to be vegan too… kids need meat and dairy to big and strong, she can be vegan all she wants but it feels wrong to force other people too.
You get plenty of nutrition from a Vegan diet. Her kids, she can raise them how she wants, when they get older they can chose for themselves
Those poor kids
That dinner is sad
Lol this show is definitely fake. I am long time vegan and have never ever seen "carrot dogs"
Hiiiyaaa 🤦♂️
Ive actually seen someone post this online except the carrots looked meat like, almost like they were bbqed
@@ThenGetIdOffUrChest I'm not saying it doesn't exist in saying it's normal. As a vegan who knows alot of other vegans and follows heaps of vegan cooking shows and channels as well as social media. I've never once seen carrot dog pop up.
@@yaccfonoti u didn't say it wasn't normal u said you've never seen it and me, who is not vegan, have, so i was just sharing. Because i just saw it posted recently. Matter fact u said u " NEVER EVER SEEN carrot dogs" to be specific.

@@yaccfonoti first off, idiot, im typing not talking. Secondly your the one who posted the comment and clearly as a " vegan who knows alot of other vegans and watches a heap of vegan cooking channels" ur upset because this meat eater infomed you that ive seen this meal. Your idiotic. Arguing over nothing. Its a fucking carrot dog. Sn: write in complete sentences especially if your trying to insult someone. 🤦🏿♀️
Solo hay q ver la familia de los q comen carne y la familia de los veganos... Creo q se ve bastante la diferencia para mi esta mucho mejor la de los veganos pero mucho mucho
that dish is for fun, not for food
I’m vegan and carrot dogs aren’t tasty at all. I don’t even eat that lol
Just because you don't know how to cook and what to cook doesn't mean there's nothing to eat it's just you don't know the recipe mean it be vegan or non-vegan it's simple go to youtube look for the recipe yiu wish to cook .
Can vegans/vegetarians try to stop trying to copy non vegan/vegetarian food- recipes like carmalized onion tarts, ratatouille, cauliflower gratin, spinach soufflé, frittatas, etc etc can all taste really good and incredible with having no meat and little to no animal products in them
Why not look to ancient cultures like from India where they are the experts of vegetarian food that tastes great then scare the kids away from vegetarianism because of tasteless food. Butter Paneer meal with nand bread.
I am vegan and I would never have carrot stuck in the bun like. Jesus there are plenty of great vegan meals that can be still healthy and so damn god
That… why would you choose a carrot dog…? The textures on that in general are terrible.
Rebaked rosemary mashed potatoes, flame sautéed onion sweet corn, beyond meat burgers- A FREAKING ENCHILADA. you could literally have done anything in the world and you chose the joke meme?? I get you were trying to use a familiar visual but the point is something new and not- uncanny. Nothing is worse than going to eat something that looks like what you’re looking at and- OOP. Your crunchy is soggy!
((Btw- coming from someone who was forced to go vegan due to medical reasons: Beyond Meat, Morning Star sausages and Morning star Chicken strips are a great start for anyone going veggie or are just curious. Oatly milk is also a great milk substitute (texture was even proper))
OF EVERY VEGAN FOOD, YOU DECIDED TO MAKE A CARROT DOG?
oh dear lord like couldn't you just make something more creative?
Ok... I make vegan food all the time... carrot dogs... WHAT THE ACTUAL HEAK!? ... you can make SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS!!! Whygyyyyyyd????????
...while I am not crazy about the carrot in a bun (I don't eat bread), I think this points out that Americans are WAY too hung up on eating meat.
I'm glad I'm not vegan
Yeah, me too!! Y'all take that, I'll enjoy my 12 Oz ribeye.

Im sorry im vegan and even ive never eaten a fucking carrot dog.
Those kids are getting a healthy meal for the first time EVER, it seems!! And there were even some unhealthy elements like hot dog bread and ketchup.
Are you saying the kids who ate meat never ate healthy?
I think to be fair they should have made the other family eat meat.
That’s ridiculous unless the other family ONLY ate meat
@ i mean they ate CARROTS in a BUN with KETCHUP. I've never seen a vegan meal like that. So it would be fair for the other family to at least try a little meat.
@ I know 🤣
I wouldn't of ate the meat as a vegetarian I would rather starve. But I wouldn't of made the meat eaters eat no meat
@ that's not what I meant. I don't even force my friends when we have a meal together to refrain from meat
I'm sorry. I could never be a vegan. If you want to.. Sure. I'll support you. Just don't make me go through it unless I chose to myself. ❤
I would never go vegan i like my meats 🥩
why is being fat still legal???
Vegan food is just a Joke 🤣🤣 terrible why do that to yourself
Vegan stuff is nasty🤢🤮. I love vegetables and eat them all the time. Love carrots, but not in place of meat, next to it.
She didn’t give them anything good. Pasta with Mariana sauce, French fries, mashed potatoes, field roast veggie dogs, etc. Even some vegetarians don’t like carrot dogs.
I want a farm
carot dog lol typical vegan
bro, don't diss my vegan bros like that. I ain't vegan but they got some damn good dishes. That carrot dog is an insult to veganism.
@@ryuuthefrog3775 pfft vegans are anoying just like a carot dog would be
They are dramatic brats. Its only carrots.
But carrots and ketchup?? The mom could have at least bought a vegan substitute and not just boiled carrots in a bun.
Kids were very respectful.
Says the person being flat out rude for no reason.

@@missupernatural21 you kinda just proved her point by saying that
Don’t force your views on others, meat is necessary for the human diet regardless of opinion, the store meat is dead wether or not you decide to eat it
