I remember play against Him, when his castle finished, i put an ox in front of his gates, but still he can produce lots of army and save much money. I used to wait until he has 6000 army. I prepare for his massive attack by putting 5 tower with 200 crossbowman each, and when i delete the ox, my PC crashed. _stronghold crusader extreme is not responding_
Abbot would be more interesting with crossbowmen instead of regular archers. It's quite frustrating to see AI with so huge castle and working economy but nearly zero potential to defense itself.
@CleverChimp it would make sense that he uses crossbowmen considering in the original stronghold campaign, he is the one who provides your Lord with the blueprints for crossbows in which to fight the heavily armored swordsmen of the Wolf about 3/4 of the way through the campaign.
abbot vs emir... i think emir will win because abbots attacks will be crushed with volleys of arrows. but i think emir will have a very hard time finishing the abbot because the abbot is one of the strongest tanks in the game refering to his economy and his ability to remain active even und siege. to be precise: there are stronger tanks than the abbot like kaliph or wolf but both of them will suffer extreme penalties while under siege. kaliph will be crippled to become a wall and nothing more and wolfs attacks will be launched slower and slower over time. abbot on the other hand will be able to launch attacks just a little bit slower then normal but at least he will be able to launch them even with higher numbers of monks. edit: so 11:28 was the first time emirs horse archers left his stronghold... well... at least they did a good job protectiong the keep i guess... must be a bug. usually they join the army but wait for a breach... if abbot would use some armored troops... a few pikemen or european swordsmen would be enough and he would have killed emir several times in this battle... but i guess then he would be way to strong. yes emir... you are winning to easy... well i was hoping abbot would land a lucky shot and would be able to kill emir while his troops are out but with the horsearchers camping the keep? no way... so like i said: emir would win after a very long fight. in fact i did an ai-battle with these two and abbot did won but in this battle emirs horse archers has worked like intended and he has used another layout which is somewhat weaker... or at least abbot had way better chances to breach it.
Abbot's castle is also "enhanced" by the Unofficial patch... Without the patch he doesn't build the great gatehouse in the front of his castle but just one in the rear near the moat.
Habe die beiden KM vor kurzem mit dem Patch gespielt. Mein Abt nutze mit dem Patch auch Schwertkämpfer. Hat Ihn schon deutlich stärker gemacht. Da werden wohl die unterschiedlichen Burgen, auch Auswirkungen auf die Stärke der verschiedenen KI's haben.
Hab ihm auch Schwertkämpfer gegeben, aber nur als Backup, wenn die burg des gegnern offen ist. Macht ihn deutlich besser, nur mit mönchen ist er leider kaum besser als die Schlange. Zudem muss bei mir der Abt die waffen für Schwertkämpfer kaufen, hat ja eh genügend gold😅
Make a map with three keeps, one of them surrounded by lions. Then when you start the game, choose the keep with the lions and let them kill your lord. You can then just watch the two CPU lords fight each other.
@@AzeFusion Or install the Unofficial Stronghold Crusader Patch 2.14 like Udwig did in this video. That patch introduces the "spectator mode" with which you can start matches without yourself as a player and just let the AI fight with each other without having to suicide at the start of the match.
there is an unofficial patch for crusader and crusader extreme allowing to be spectator and lots of other tweaks and stuff. just google "stronghold crusader unoffical patch"
