I am an American of Bangladeshi heritage. Back in my native land I was involved in media, worked both for radio and TV. This is the first time I am watching Naveed Mahbub show. I can say, it is a quality production.
Thank you. I'm trying to pull off the 'late night show' concept with a shoe string budget & very thin resources. But I do need feedback & suggestions. This show aired for 52 episodes back in 2012-2013. Resumed again this past January. I have to admit I'm a bit behind in uploading all the aired episodes thus far.
Good to get your prompt response. I was a News Producer with Bangladesh TV back in 1982. Haider Rizvi bhai used to be my colleague. I also worked with Voice of Ameica for more than a decade. Also, BRAC's Mushtaque Chowdhury is my school and university classmate. My view regarding comedy show in Bangladesh, my point is, some aspects of body language or choice of words can not be like typical western comedy show. The cultural norms and strict cultural correctness/political correctness prevailing in Bangladeshi society could restrain any Western educated comedian to see the limits of their performance. Nonetheless, the work you started is like a movement. That movement is to let Bangladeshis smile and laugh without bounds. The lighting and camera work was reasonably good. The studio seemed to be small, but looked like small comedy club in USA. I hope someday,, you will get your permanent studio. By the way, first I saw Zara Mahbub's "Inspirational Speech at NSU". That video link led to your interview with Tahsan Khan. I had circulated both the video links to e-forums and my associates. Keep with your good work and let Bangladeshis laugh more and more.
Thank you. I film at BRAC University so as to get a live audience. I've hired a production crew. Despite being a novice and a corporate guy and an engineer, I end up doing all the direction, production and editing work, not to mention creating the content. The set is designed by Zara Mahbub, my wife. The furniture on the set is from my home. We assemble and dissemble the set and taping in a matter of a few hours since it's the school auditorium which BRAC U has been gracious enough to let us use. We have to pull off the whole show very cleverly with limited means and budget. By the way, I have recently been featured on Comedy Central. I've got my own comedy club. The Hollywood Comedy Store is my 'home club'.

Bangladesh's biggest celebrities should regularly come to this show and this type of classy,quality commedy content should always be given to us on a regular basis like Kapil Sharma Show,Jimmi Fellon's,james corden's show etc 😍

The audience is ALWAYS a big part of it. That is the reason the show is filmed at a university to get as large a crowd as possible. As is the case, the size of the audience varies, just as the demographics.
