Thank you for watching! Alstroemeria really do add that bright pop of colour and so easy to take care of. They do tend to flop over a little bit, so benefit from propping them up. I shall be dividing these in the spring to continue the colour throughout the garden. I look forward to seeing them in your videos next year! 🌴
It’s looking good despite the wind which has been a proper pain. If I could give you one bit of advice is to add a little bit more group planting and repeat planting. Quite often a group of plants like ferns for instance can look better than 5 different plants as it can be to much information for your eyes to take in all in one go. Repeating plants or colours in the same view can really help balance the garden as well. For instance having a begonia on one side of the path and then having the same plant the other side but further down creates flow through the garden. Just some tips I use when landscaping and in my own garden. I think you are doing a great job and I love the idea that you are enjoying the process and are planning future projects. The view down the path looks great. Cheers
Thank you so much for taking the time out to give me the advice! It's exactly the sort of tips and advice I wish to receive by doing these videos because in the end it will result in a better, more cohesive garden. I definitely agree with you because my favourite area is from the greenhouse looking down the path with all the ferns clustered together and the different shapes and shades of green together. It's great to use these videos to look back on in future years to see how the garden has changed & hopefully improved over the years. I used to just take pictures, but after losing most of them, I thought I'd try something different.
Beautiful garden 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the tour.
Alstromera is on the shopping list for next year, I really feel I have missed out on that one! Thanks for sharing this wonderful garden.
