Radio 2 needs to play more of the Fizz , to show the younger generation they are trying to pull in , just how good the songs are , I sent my 21 year old son some of the songs through Spotify and he was like this is really good, and my 13 year old absolutely love them.
Note to The Fizz: "Cool" is often overrated. As a very-latecomer to the dance, it is the music that got me interested in the four of you, and keeps me interested now, although you're all quite fun to see and hear as well. "The F-Z of Pop" is a fine album; all eight of the new songs are excellent, and I can assure you at least two copies were sold in the US. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more in 2018 and beyond, and pleased to see you having success on your own terms this time.
I feel that Bucks Fizz are starting to gain traction as relevant 80's group. Their place in the market wasn't particularly fashionable at the time with older teens which hurts credibility. I remember your Mum and Auntie liking them plus, "Making your mind up" seemed to tarnish and overshadow their successive career. Fast forward to 2024 and I've played their material to people who'd written them off. Their album Smoke and Mirrors is brilliant and really showcases the excellent ability they always had. Bottom line is that Bucks Fizz are still here and maintain a huge fan base. I'm glad to have been along for the journey.
