Regarding dun sa ate magkaiba ang dreams/vision nila with her boyfriend, i’ve been in that situation too. For me ha, the person meant for you will always find his way to you. Totoo yung i-aalign talaga ng Diyos ang universe para maging kayo in the end. Kung hindi man sya para sayo, never talaga magiging kayo. My relationship before this one is exactly the se as yours. Walamg willimg mag compromise samin. Gusto ko mag settle abroad pero sya ayaw nya talaga so naisip ko hindi talaga mag wowork out kasi iba ang vision namin. I had to let him go. My next relationship was with my soulmate. And it’s true, kapag siya na talaga soulmate mo, everything will fall into place kahit ano paman pagdadaanan nyo. LDR kami pero nag align naman vision namin na magsasama talaga kami eventually kahit saan mn kami ilagay ni Lord. This month ikakasal na kami and in Jesus’ Name magkakasama na kami overseas for good. Walang kelangan mag compromise, walang kelangan mag give up ng dream, ganun kapag nakita mo ang “the one” mo. ☺️

I think I can answer ate's question about "future mo vs future nyo" kasi parang medyo same situation tayo ate. Although mas bata ako hahaha (I just turned 18) That doesn't make me less reliable naman di ba? 😂 But I'll be giving advice based on my knowledge and experience lang, if I differ from anyone, pls don't take it against me.
Backstory: I have a boyfriend. Kaka-two years lang namin last June 3. We're best friends even before we started to feel romantic w/ each other. And also, we have dreams na on what we plan to be on the future bago pa maging kami. Our dreams is also so different. Our dreams will LITERALLY keep us apart. Why? Kasi his dream is to be a Captain. Ang goal niya is to study sa isang academy for maritime students where in dun sila mags stay sa campus and communication is barely possible. (We only communicate once a week through email, no phone calls allowed. 3 mins lang yung duration, and di lang naman ako yung tao sa buhay nya, may family din siya, so imagine that 3 mins being divided into several people, so we barely talk).
Enough na sa backstory. Haha. Although bata pa kami, we've shared a lot of memories together. We already know what we want. And ate, you being older, I know you also know na kung ano talaga yung dream mo. So (1) Prioritize your dream. You both should do that. Why? Kasi love will be there, if it's that strong, you can make it work. And if kayo talaga, kayo talaga sa dulo. Self first kasi madali lang naman mag ka-future if you're already sure sa partner mo.
(2) Talk. Aside from talking, you should also be clear kung ano balak nyo after chasing your dreams. For example, estimation of what age will you be married, settle down, etc. Things that will let each other know that even if inuuna niyo yung pangarap niyo, you two still have plans for each other. (I know we're too young to talk about marriage but I guess ganun talaga?? And it will help kasi since we'll be apart, may panghahawakan kayo. (I'll talk more about this sa #3)
(3) Trust. Hindi lang trust na wag maging selosa, etc. kundi trust sa isa't isa na tutuparin niyo yung promise niyo sa future. Oo, people tend to forget. Pero you just have to trust your partner. Kasi w/o trust you can never survive ldr. Mapapa paranoid ka lang thinking if he still loves you ba, if he's still in sync with your plans.
(4) Support each other. Sa set up namin ngayon, I can barely have an update kung ano nangyayari sa kanya sa loob ng academy. Sanay ako na may update ako sa kanya if nakakain na sya, if pupunta sya somewhere. But change and acceptance na iba na yung set up is a major thing sa bagog set up namin. Kasi you can't hold on dun sa past set up kasi everything will be different. Aamin ako, it was scary. Sobra. But if you both are assuring each other na everything will be okay and that youll always support each other, then it'll be okay. You'll be fine. (If he has the chance, he will say how much he miss me, mga bucketlist na ginawa nya para gawin namin if he's out of the academy na.) and that's (5).
(5) It's important that your partner is understanding and supportive and gives you assurance at times na he can give these things. Kasi in life na magiging busy kayo both, dun kayo kakapit. With these things existing, di ka maco confuse or mabo bother if parehas pa ba kayo ng plano.
(6) Do your part. Oo nga, your partner nga is giving you assurance when he can, he's supporting you, etc. eh ikaw naman 'tong needy, na you want to have those things consistently.. wala rin. Understand na since magiging busy kayo both, he can't give those things as frequent, di katulad nung dating set up.
It takes two to tango. And madaming adjustments ang magaganap. Haha. And at this crucial stage, mahalaga na you both need to be understanding. But ayun nga, unahin ang pangrap kasi you can still support each other if you really want to. And if you're already established sa career mo, madali na namang mag plano pa ng mas detailed. It will be scary, oo, pero don't let that fear beat your relationship. And also, know your worth kasi even if he's away, di ibig sabihin nun pababayaan ka na nya. He should find a way. Maf feel mo naman yun if he's already drifting apart..
and last, don't take the new set up as a hindrance sa relationship niyo. Tignan niyo siya as a challenge ni God to make you a stronger couple. Take it as a challenge na you both need to adjust and do something. Nothing is impossible with love.

so this is an advice for everyone about love. even tho i dont have much experience, i learned somethings by watching movies etc. wag hayaang sa partner lang umikot ang mundo and also dont forge your worth kasi pano makikita ng iba yung worth mo kung ikaw naman mismo hindi alam yun. and for the people na may feelings parin for ex kahit nasa relationship na, bro kung mahal mo pa ex mo wag ka na mandamay kasi kung dumating sa point na mamimili ka may isang masasaktan. so bro, before magkarelationship always make sure that you’re over with your ex at walang ng feelings. yun lang hope i helped some people here hehe
