A simple guide for those of you who don't get any of this:
Windows 1.0 gave us future shock.
Windows 2.0 flew in the face of Mac, despite hidden bugs.
Windows 3.0 had us in a repetitive trance.
Windows 3.1 wowed its consumers with new programs.
Windows 95 knocked MS-DOS out of the field.
Windows NT 4.0 was loud.
Windows 98 was just Windows 95, souped up.
Windows 2000 cowered in the face of Y2K hysteria.
Windows ME was a piece of junk.
Windows XP wowed us.
Windows Longhorn was not nice to its testers.
Windows Vista stunk.
Windows 7 was a nice change.
Windows 8 underdelivered.
Windows 8.1 was just Windows 8 overstaying its welcome, especially after support of XP came to an end.
Windows 10 was the same old, same old, with updates that did nothing, while Internet Explorer was dead and buried.
Windows 11 had so much put into so little.

From Windows 1 to Windows 7, we have seen development progress in both convenience and beautiful graphical visuals and wonderful music in the screensaver. Starting with Windows 8 something went wrong and everything started to go in the opposite direction, abruptly sliding into a minimalistic design like in Windows 1, the start panel disappearing, and the removal of the introductory music when turned on. In Windows 11, the operating system began to look like its competitor in the face of macOS in terms of visuals and panels. Although maybe someday this long fashion for minimalism will end, and at least in the 2030s we will finally see a new three-dimensional design and a normal Windows again?
