He could have been one of the great test batsman in history of the game. But unfortunately in later half of the career he focused just on the t20 and franchise cricket. Also his disputes with board curbs his intrest in red ball cricket. He also had below mediocre weak test side on his shoulders and that team didn't played well enough to support him and chadrapaul. Otherwise with good test side he could have been great in test cricket. His centuries on hard conditions and bouncy tracks in SENA countries showed his talent.
Gayle left test because of his arrythmia a heart condition ... so he cannot bat for a long time he used to do in past ... anyway he adopted his best format then t20 cricket 😂😂
Gayle could not run because of arrthymia ... thats why he did focus on t20 cricket ...otherwise he would have done way better in test and odi ... he has 2 triple century , 3 double hundreds but most of those were before 2007 ... he was out of west indies cricket for 3 to 4 years ... by that time he adopted twenty twenty as his main format... he has 23 t20 including international , league and franchise centuries
I prefer to watch Gayle's test match batting, he has some of the most elegant straight and cover drives ever.
Gayle the underrated test genius. First comment
Those straight drivs are priceless❤🔥,,,,, gayle is legend in each format of the game
I can’t tell how much I miss this guy opening the innings.
