👋🏻 Hello sweet analog lovers. Hope you enjoy this extra amped episode, it’s one of my personal favs. Help us out by smashing the like button, doinking a comment, sharing with your mother or Instagram, etc! Thanks for peeping ♥️
I took my sx70 all the way from Scott Vegas in 2017 and was chuffed with the results ! There was a decent film/frame shop near the wheel and car museum? at the time.
I know the viewcount wasnt huge, but I loved this! I recently found your channel from the lomo lca120 review (of which you convinced me to spend the dosh..) and love your personality and editing prowess! Would love to dig into another lucky dip of funky film.
This is such a dope comment to see! Thank you 4T, we did shoot another one which I hope to edit shortly, so I’m glad there’s some folks out there who dug the format ♥️
I've started to take my packfilm cassette apart in a changing bag to carefully feel the developer pods. I can at least tell if they're completely dry by how cool they feel.
Porta VC & Portra NC were used to create the current Portra film stocks. Portra NC became regular Portra in 2013 as mentioned above and Portra VC became the Portra Ektar we know and love.
I am prepared to drain my bank account and beg friends, family, and sworn enemies to help me personally invest in restoring the Elvis Love Me Tender Dream Camera production line, complete with the garish tape job unique to EACH unit!
What you touched inside the disposable camera was probably the capacitor that drives the flash. These operate at many times the voltage of the batteries: Two AA batteries in series will produce approximately 3 volts, while a flash typically runs at somewhere around 200 to 300 volts!
Hey Ben, do you have a P.O. box? I have a roll of Ektar 100 from about 2015, and the other rolls in the box had issues with the frame numbers on the backing paper bleeding into the negative. Redditors were saying that Kodak had a problem with that around the same time. It's yours if you want it. I make no promises about how it was stored though. Love the show!

Those Polaroid results are nice! But that Portra 160 VC was especially surprising! Good stuff!

A friend of mine showed me your stuff a good while ago, your stuff is brilliant! Underrated is beyond underselling it. I need that Elvis camera.
