      hi, I would like to know, are all the woocommerce payment plugins paid to the account in installments? Whether there is an plugin can receive all the funds to my account per day?

    • @simongondeck
      @simongondeck  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jamesbill7596 to clarify I am going to give you an example. Let's say you have a product that costs $100. A customer could choose to pay $100 initially or pay $25 in 4 separate installments (you could also charge a premium if customer chooses payment plan option). The customer pays $25 initially for their 1st installment, $25 after X days for 2nd installment, $25 after Y days for 3rd installment, $25 after Z days for their 4th and final installment. You would receive the funds when the customer pays each installment. Does this make sense? Let me know!

    This looks great! Can you explain why the Subscriptions plugin is necessary for this plugin though? I'm reviewing for a client and need to be able to explain to them before they purchase.

    Is it still necessary to get the subscriptions plugin? Or could I just use the woo payment plugin? I have an online course I currently sell via wordpress. I saw in a more recent tutorial instructions to just use the payment plugin, and subscriptions has way more info than I need. Thanks!

    Hey Simon! Thanks for an epic video. It was very helpful. I have one question: does this plugin work with Variable Subscriptions? E.g. One product, with two variable prices. Will it change the cost of the monthly installment plan, based on the variation which is selected? Please let me know asap 🙌

    I love the payment plan but I would like to recommend for you guys to give the option of make payment deposits and ship purchased products after all payments have being done. Can you guys integrate this to the plugging? I would feel more safe if we ship after last payment has being done.

    • @simongondeck
      @simongondeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Cushie! Yes this is possible as you could add a sign-up fee to the 1st down payment. For example, 1st payment for $100 and then 3 monthly payments of $25.

    How does this prevet users from being taxed 4 times o on each payment?

    • @simongondeck
      @simongondeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey D Wilson! Users are taxed on each payment. For example, if product costs $100 and tax rate is 5%, and a payment plan is setup for 4 monthly payments of $25, the 1st payment would be $26.25 ($25 + $1.25 tax), 2nd payment would be $26.25, etc. If product was purchased at full product price the total with tax would be $105 ($100 + $5 tax). Does this make sense?

    Can the customer just cancel the payment plan and therefore "steal" since they get the product from the very first payment?

    • @PCox-vg6wy
      @PCox-vg6wy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He stated a card has to be on file.

    • @simongondeck
      @simongondeck  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question! Customers are not allowed to cancel their payment plan, only Administrators have that access. If a customer makes their 1st payment and then their 2nd/3rd/4th/Xth payment fails, it will be automatically be tried 5 times. In addition, the customer will also get a email notification 3x about their failed payment with a link to add a new payment method.
      Overall, a customer could technically try to "steal" if they made their 1st payment, received the item via shipment, and then cancelled their credit card. If you are worried about this scenario you could verify the customer's shipping address and check to make sure the billing address fields matches the shipping address fields, call the customer after they make their order if it looks sketchy, manually email the customer, etc.

  • @jeroendekker9560
    @jeroendekker9560 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    is this safe enough? I want to make sure people don’t just cancel their credit card and get the product or service without actually paying

    • @simongondeck
      @simongondeck  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jeroen, are you selling a physical product or a virtual product?
      If you are selling a physical product, a customer could technically make their 1st payment and then once the product is shipped to them, cancel their credit card.
      It’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons of accepting this as a risk of doing business.
      You could also call the customer and verify their address if they do look sketchy before shipping the product to them.

    We have a board foot calculator on some of our wood products. The customer inputs height, width, and length and the calculator determines board feet then multiplies it by the $ per board foot for that product. Is your Deposits Plugin able to use the Calculated Product Price to determine the Deposit amount ?
