I'm working on improving the mic quality, and trying different things ... obviously this wasn't it, so please bear with me until I get it figured out! I appreciate you! Have a fabulous weekend!
On the Revolution eye brightener in the pot try mixing a dab of it with your favorite concealer. I LOVE this stuff and that is the best way for me to use it.
Thank you for sharing these products! I no longer buy high end makeup as we are preparing for retirement. It's videos like these that have helped me build my affordable makeup collection!
Thank you Zebrena! I love ❤️ all your videos. I don't like TikTok. Your Fall decor in the background is beautiful. I hope you have a blessed day and is full of love ❤️ and peace.
I use the under eye brightener. I use one of them tiny sponges on sticks..then use concealer and powder on top..I'm 50 with dry skin and it makes under eyes wrinkle free.
The Ulta eyeshadow primer is my new favorite. I ran out of my urban decay and went on a primer search, experimenting with basically all the high end primers. Snuck the Ulta one in there for fun, and it ended up being my absolute favorite.
HI, I LOVE YOUR WORK. How about you make a video about perfect mixes or combos that work well together. For example, I discovered that if I mix wet and wild tinted hydrator and L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, I get hydration and coverage like skin, my pores are not visible and it lasts a long time. Alone they don't give me this flawless look 😊 XOXO
I have the Revolution under eye brightener in the pot and I've been loving it..I have dry skin and very dark blue undereye circles and this one covers them up perfectly. I apply just a dab with my finger, and let it set while I do my eyebrows. Then I go back with a sponge and blend it out a little more, then I usually set it very lightly with a loose powder. I've even tried putting a concealer on top of it and it still works out great. I've also worn it with no powder on lighter makeup days and it holds up great with just a touch up here and there to blend out the creasing. It's a favorite!
Hi Zabrena! I just used up my old lip exfoliator so I tried a different one - from Elf - brown sugar lip exfoliator. Sooo good and hydrating! Everyone I know will be getting one as a Christmas stocking stuffer this year. I don't know if it is new or just new to me but for $5 it is AMAZING!
I really like the new Cover Girl blushes & bronzer 🥰. The older versions aren't WOC skintone friendly. There's so many great drugstore products! Everyone can't afford the high-end stuff, and honestly I don't think you need to spend hundreds of dollars for great products ✌🏾😉
So glad to hear you mentioned the Ulta Eyeshadow Primer. It's my holy grail and definitely a hidden gem! Best part is you don't need but a tiny bit. Mine has lasted me a long time.
I am OBSESSED w/the L.A. Colors Lip Oils. Most likely a DUPE for the NYX Lip oils. I got the dragon fruit one at dollar tree for a buck 25,& had to get more. I went back two days later, the only ONE left, I got. Lychee flavor. Then I saw their "Juicy" Lip Oil. I got the orange flavor, this one was a roller ball. I don't like the flavor as much but the quality is just as good as the other ones with the wand/doe foot applicators. So, if anyone cares, they're only $1.25 USD, compared to NYX $8+ Price point. Just fyi 💄 ❤ 😁
The covergirl blush was introduced to me by my mother-in-law. That is my favorite powder brush. Currently I am using cream blushes but every once in awhile I pull out the powder blush and apply it. It's my favorite color
The product that I have that has impressed me is not makeup but a sunscreen. The elf matte sunscreen. Not the glowy one. It comes out clear and slides on your face so nice and is blurring. I have never had a sunscreen that I've tried and enjoyed putting on until the elf one.
I used to be able to get a terrific stash of cosmetics at Dollar Tree, as well as overstock books. Not much anymore but there is a cardboard display of seasonal makeup set up by the end caps. I see these twice a year spring and fall, but I have to stop buying make for fun. Instead of AA, I should attend MUA....Make Up Anonymous, LOL !
I picked up a 5 pack of LA Colors lip gloss in the holiday gifts section at Dollar General. Beautiful nude-ish colors, very comfortable to wear. They’re slimmer and maybe smaller than the normal size-but all five were only $5!
6:29 red neck girl 😂😂😂 I can't stop laughing. Those tiny sponges have to be the cutest thing ever, gave me flashbacks to playing with makeup and dolls as a kid. 7:08 they also look like slippers 😆 if you put one on your index finger and another on the middle finger I bet Gia would also see how those are a pair of tiny legs on slippers. I would give her a couple sponges for her dolls 🥰
Shalom! I have used the setting spray, the finger sponges and the lip oil....l love them....can't wait to try some of the other things you showed. ..yes please do another video like this.. .God bless everyone ❤
I also love the teeny sponges used for under the eyes or other small areas. They are amazing for $1.25! I’m keeping my eyes open for that setting spray and hope I can find it soon.
Yes, Z, I will be patient about the sound in your videos while you work with it! Girl, I got you! I bought an LA Colors lip gloss at my DGS for $1 it was pink and I can't remember the name but the other one was a color called Topaz. This gloss is an ultimate performer! You always keep your contact fresh! Thank you Z. 💋💋👄💄💄🎃🍁🍂💜💜
I’m wondering the same. Here in CA (one of the most expensive cities in the state) we’re still at $1.25, and our local stores were some of the first in the nation to increase. I checked out their website and things are still $1.25, so I’m guessing that she’s misquoting the price.
Hi Zabrena and happy frugal Friday to you 💜 I have to say, I’ve been using the Ulta eyelid primer for awhile now and I really do like it! I wanted to know if you’ve ever tried the Perbelle CC Cream? I’ve been using it for about 6 months and I really do love it! You do need to order it online and it costs $40+ (I don’t remember the exact amount I paid) but it has lasted me over 6 months! I thought you may want to try it 💜💜 God bless you and your family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love this video! It’s always nice when others share their hidden gems 😊 thank you for getting them and trying them for us to see! I agree with you about LA Colors products. Some are hits and some are misses. But, it has been my experience that they’ve had way more hits than misses. I like that you can find them in several different stores as you mentioned. They’re also available in Family Dollar. I’m not sure about Dollar General as I don’t shop there too often 🤔 I saved this video bc I want to definitely try out some of these hidden gems. That cover girl blush is absolutely gorgeous! I love that it has a bit of a hilighter built right in, but it’s not overpowering the beautiful color of the blush. You look stunning! Have a fantastic weekend and I look forward to your next upload 😊💖💕💫 PS: edited to add; the LA Colors nail polishes have always worked well for me! I never get through a whole bottle of any brand of nail polish before the consistency changes and it needs to be thrown out. For the inexpensive price of the LA Color polish I don’t mind replacing it as often as I wish. Also, my granddaughter uses it and changes her polish out frequently 😊 use a couple layers of a clear top coat and it will last quite awhile
I just bought the Ulta eye primer because Amanda from Makeup Just For Fun has been using it. It was buy 2 get 1 free! Now I want the lip oil. Great video
Hi Zabrena I love you 😘 Sending Prayers and Love to you and your family The lip oil I had was a bubble gum scent. It was amazing! I went through two of them. I’m definitely buying it again but I want to get through some of the others I have first.
I like L.A. Girl lip liners also. I've always loved MAC lip liners, and per one of your subscribers recommendation I tried L.A. Girl's, and she is right! They're a MAC dupe...and a whole lot more affordable. Whomever recommended that, thank you 😊
Moira's dupe for the Givenchy loose powder has become my favorite powder, I think I got it for $12 on Amazon? I also like their cream blush that is like the Tower 28 blushes. I still love the JCat loose powder and I'm glad to see it's still on ULTA's site, although I'm a bit nervous most of the shades aren't available except the ones I use. Porcelain is great for setting powder, but the other shade (called luminous or something like it) can be used in a few different ways. I love adding a sprinkle or two of it to whatever setting powder I'm using for a subtle all over glow, but some people use it as a highlighter with a highlighting brush. When I first tried it out I even took a very small amount on my largest powder brush for an allover glow, but I think it's better to mix it with setting powder.
OMG thank you for the shout out! 😊 I am going to see what products you mentioned here are available at my local Dollar Tree store. I would love to try the setting spray because I haven't found one that works well for me without having to spend an arm and a leg! Something I use every day cannot be expensive, if possible...I think I mentioned another product before that I really love is Revolution's contour trio that contains blush that is an exact dupe for NARS'S Orgasm blush. Price is like 5 bucks! The mini NARS blush alone is 20 bucks, so Revolution's is such a steal!! Lol...I always love watching your videos and I thank you so much for them!
Went to alot of dollar trees and never seen the spary excited to see it ones day!! I love La colors!! Just like shop miss A has some gems also!! Love most of the things u said and I'm deeper in skin tone and I can tell u soft mink is a pretty highlight on me
Hello Zabrena! I love the PURITO bb cream. They are my go to and provide great coverage and wear beautifully on my combo skin. Also, I am a huge fan of the a'pieu juicy pang blusher. Super easy to build up and blend.
Maybelline Lash Discovery Waterproof mascara is a holy grail of mine and definitely a hidden gem from the drugstore. Best lower mash mascara for anyone who suffers from allergies/watery eyes, wear glasses/contacts, like clean definition.
I love revolution eye brighter. For a clicky type it last the longest ive tried. Also try revolution eye base love it. Anything of revolution cheek products try minus the highlighters they can be a hit or miss if you like sparkly type
Wow! So many wonderful recommendations!! I have $15 burning a hole in my pocket and that is all I will need so I'm going shopping lol where are your earrings from?? They are so pretty❤
I recently tried Collection dark brown and black khol eye liners and they were less than £3 each but are some of the best eyeliners I've ever used, and they stay put for ahes. On the back of that I tried their Primed & Ready mattifying primer, and their pressed powder, and both of those are excellent too. They are the most affordable make up in my nearest supermarket so I'm really happy that I gave them all a try 😁
I love CoverGirl blushes. They are all wonderful. Also love their pressed powder. Have worn both for decades. My hidden gem is the Almay lipsticks in the tubes with pictures all over them. Sorry, I don't know the name but absolutely love them. Also Revlon eye shadows, both the creams and the powders; no one talks about them but they are great quality. Thanks for all you do Zabrena! Many blessings to you and yours!
My hidden gem I mentioned before but it is the Loreal eyelash primer. I love it! I hardly ever wear lashes much because this stuff is a better dupe than Lancôme’s eyelash primer and it is only $8.00!
Hello Zabrena - I've followed you for some time, and I would love some help: I am over 40 and struggle with hooded eyes. I only put eyeliner in my water line since if I put it on my lash line it ends up in my crease no matter the formula; I'd rather not use a liquid liner every day. If you have heard of an eyeliner that is good for the water line I'd love to hear from you - I tried Nyx, but it flakes off and gets onto my contact lenses ... yuck!
@@simplythebestgirl I used Milani for a long time and loved it; they either stopped making the stay put self-sharpening eyeliner or stopped carrying it in the stores in my region ... so frustrating!! Thanks for replying though.
Wet ‘n Wild makes great eyeliners, the pencil and the liquid, both formulas of theirs are great. L’Oréal Le Liner is great too. Sephora’s one brand is also great and not too expensive (comparable in price to L’Oréal). Revlon ColorStay liners are great too (lip and eye).
A non-makeup hidden gem for me is the Ponds Cold cream (light green lid). NO ONE talks about it but it is the best makeup removing balm EVER. and so affordable, especially compared to other cleansing balms and oils on the market.
Have you tried the Becca/Smashbox one in the little pot? I like it. Also Maybelline Age Rewind has a brightener version I like. My all time favorite though is Revlon ColorStay Skin Awaken 5-in-1 concealer (in shade 2, universal brightened); highly recommend!
Lip Ink. I use the very lightest wash of the shade "rosewood". It deposits a slightly purple cast to my lips. Then over top I can put red lip products that don't suit my cool undertone as well on their own. Blot that a bit and I end up with the perfect My Lips But Better effect. Now I'm not wasting colors that looked good in the store, spent good money on, then want to throw at the wall. Extra bonus: if the top lip product wears off, Lip Ink is staying put through meals, kisses, and hurricanes!
I swear by ELF's Woah Glow. It's got SPF and works as the perfect primer. It's slightly pigmented. Not enough to conceal, but it has a slightly glowy undertone. I wear Sent makeup, so I have to stay away from silicone because it breaks the cream down. I work 10 hour shifts sometimes, and my face still looks great at the end of the day! 1 tube lasts me forever.
Your hair color is gorgeous! Would you mind sharing what brand it is because it's so flattering on you. Your's always are, but this one was just so autumn!❤️🍂
I'm working on improving the mic quality, and trying different things ... obviously this wasn't it, so please bear with me until I get it figured out! I appreciate you! Have a fabulous weekend!
God bless
Girl, please. You’re the reason we watch your videos. You could be using an old can as a mic and we’d still love ya!
You sound really good and clear. No mic issues to these 👂s.
I don't get it, this sounds perfectly normal to me both with earphones and on speaker
This sounds fine to me?
On the Revolution eye brightener in the pot try mixing a dab of it with your favorite concealer. I LOVE this stuff and that is the best way for me to use it.
Also, set the color correcter/brighter with a little bit of powder before putting on concealer. Works like magic!
Covergirl blushes are totally underrated. They are true hidden gems.
Thank you for sharing these products! I no longer buy high end makeup as we are preparing for retirement. It's videos like these that have helped me build my affordable makeup collection!
I hope things transition smoothly with your retirement 💕
@@adriannajane Thank you!
Cover Girl blush in soft mink is a long time favorite!
Thank you Zebrena! I love ❤️ all your videos. I don't like TikTok. Your Fall decor in the background is beautiful. I hope you have a blessed day and is full of love ❤️ and peace.
I love CoverGirl blush. I have Soft Mink and Classic Pink. I use the Soft Mink when I don't want extra pink. 😆
I don't know if this is a hidden gem, but I love Coty's airspun translucent power.
I use the under eye brightener. I use one of them tiny sponges on sticks..then use concealer and powder on top..I'm 50 with dry skin and it makes under eyes wrinkle free.

Great suggestion! Thank you!!!
More people need to know about the Julep eyeshadow sticks. They go on easy and are waterproof when dry. I love them for travel.
They're great! But pricey at $16 each. I use e.l.f. and W & W
Those are great! The Julep blush sticks are too.
I think I've seen that blush line at my local CVS quite near the floor. >.> Sometimes, hard to find products are just low to the ground. XD
I don't like TikTok either
I deleted Tik tok!
I'm not a big fan of TikTok either.

Believe Beauty has great lip liners. They are inexpensive, silky smooth and wear like a long wear lipstick, without drying my lips. 💄
Thank you all for sharing and thank you Zabrena for trying them out! Love the background! Blessings

Maybelline Fit me primers! Love both of them.

Hi Zabrena! Thanks for these hidden gems. I love your fall decoration!
I love this video! Very helpful. Have you tried the Believe Beauty line at Dollar General. I’m using the vitamin C serum and I love it!

I also love the teeny sponges used for under the eyes or other small areas. They are amazing for $1.25! I’m keeping my eyes open for that setting spray and hope I can find it soon.

The face primer is good too.
I have oily lids and this is the only that works for me but I set mine with powder or skin tone eyeshadow.

Hello Zabrena - I've followed you for some time, and I would love some help: I am over 40 and struggle with hooded eyes. I only put eyeliner in my water line since if I put it on my lash line it ends up in my crease no matter the formula; I'd rather not use a liquid liner every day. If you have heard of an eyeliner that is good for the water line I'd love to hear from you - I tried Nyx, but it flakes off and gets onto my contact lenses ... yuck!
Maybe try Milani. I've had good luck with them.
@@thenerdfaraway Oh that's too bad 😞. I have the one in the all gold packaging. Idk if they make that one anymore. I hope you find a good one! ✨💞✨
Try Revolution Colour Correct & Fix Primer - it is amazing colour correction for redheads !
Cute background & You're adorable
I saw those sponges you mentioned at dollar tree store
😊thanks. 😊your the best.
I love the NYX Ultimate Eye Primer. It works just as amazing as the Proof it primer did, but I never hear anyone talk about it.
Hi Zebrena! What color Red is your Hair in this video?
A non-makeup hidden gem for me is the Ponds Cold cream (light green lid). NO ONE talks about it but it is the best makeup removing balm EVER. and so affordable, especially compared to other cleansing balms and oils on the market.
Honestly I haven't had any luck with any kind/brand of under eye brightner. The search continues
I hear Catrice is good.
Have you tried revlon? I love it.
I’m using Sigma Duo in shade light/ med set with CT flawless powder, just a small amount. I’ll have to try the revolution one
That revolution corrector creased on me as well
I recommend essence jelly primer amazing and I must say it’s Tati Westbrook’s highly recommended product❤
Yes! It's a very nice hydrating primer! I use it with the Wet n Wild tinted hydrator and they look beautiful together.
Omg I just got that ulta primer on mercari free shipping brand new ready???? $1.00🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It’s the best eyeshadow primer, I set mine with skin tone eyeshadow or powder.
Great video very helpful Zabrena.
Your hair color is gorgeous! Would you mind sharing what brand it is because it's so flattering on you. Your's always are, but this one was just so autumn!❤️🍂
