THE MOST EXPENSIVE MAKI ROLL 😂😂😂 Imagine if there was an optional food for each legendary fish. You wouldn't need to cook it for completion as you'd get a mysterious 1 time use recipe in the mail instead of gaining the recipe forever!
Seeing the fact it took him 23 days to unlock the Sewers in this run and comparing it to his newest Sewers run is just definite proof of BlaDe's growing destruction of this game's progression
Haboo has done it in one year, starting from spring 1, year 2. This is because Kent* doesn't arrive until year 2, AND cooking recipes are on a 2 year cycle.
@@johnthoppil7308 I think it’s based off of what frame you enter the floor or what frame you open the chest like how a tas can get mixed seeds form every weed and have it always being cauliflower
Probably even more. There are all sorts of weird quirks and small details that even though CA put them in the game, he wouldn't remember without being reminded, just because of the time that has passed.
He probably knows more, that sounds crazy, but there is a rational. You can see he sometimes shoes the code for parts of the game. This is because this game uses MonoGame. A game engine that works with C# code, all the logic is compiled into a DLL and, as it turns out, it can be decompiled back into the original source code (Approximately) This means that he has a copy of the source code, and the skills required to read it. And as such, lines of code that Concerned Ape wrote once and then never touched again has been studied by BlaDe and other speedruners deeply, and apply to exploitable scenarios (Scenarios which, as a game developer, you actually try to avoid). So if you placed ConcernedApe and BlaDe on the same situation in SV and ask both of then what the output is going to be. Then BlaDe would actually be correct far more times than ConcernedApe. Which is pretty cool
The Legendary Maki Roll had me rolling. 😂 I'd love to see what you can do for the fastest Perfection Run in terms of days. Planning all that friendship to be maximized would be quite interesting!
@@BlaDeSDV Oh wow! I'd love to see the calendar planning for that. I guess in a way the recipe requirements would give you a bit more space to complete the other tasks, but still.

shoutout to the duck at 5:50 & on farm, job well done - and of course to BlaDe for taking the most stardew challenge to a whole other level! (also subtitles✨)
I love all Stardew Valley creators, but BlaDe is my favorite. The content obviously takes a ton of work to make, is both streamed and expertly compiled for TH-cam, (complete with graphics and narration), and it perfectly shows talent as well as the brilliance in Stardew Valley's setup itself. Love it. Thank you, BlaDe.
These videos are always amazing background for sleeping thousands of days away, I often repeat them a few times as I'm only half listening so they are even nicer. Thanks again BlaDe for the marvelous content.
I follow you here and watch your content and love it. I am insanely grateful for you raiding me on twitch. YOU as my first raid ever on my first stream ever. You really made my experience on twitch so much better❤❤ thank you
CA has once stated theres an easteregg in the game that no one will ever find... i wonder if BlaDe just casually stumbled upon it while reading the code
considering CA said that this easter egg "isnt even true anymore" my theory is that it's got something to do with what the player puts as their "favorite thing" and the message that displays when eating the stardrop, but i havent looked into it enough to see if anyone else has had this thought and then disproven it
this is an insane accomplishment! turning the legend into a maki roll is such a power move. the amount of time this must have taken is next level!! what an amazing run
also blade, I really just want to say that I really love your style of speedrun. I'm not big into the speedrunning scene, and in fact the only conventional video game that I have a deep understanding (and time spent according to steam) is stardew, and I enjoy the world of stardew speedruns. however, I'm not crazy about the frantic real world timed conventional speedruns. they're honestly just too stressful for me, but also, I absolutely hate that style of playing stardew, where you just sleep a bunch of days. I greatly prefer to "fewest days spent" over "littlest real time spent", I think it requires more creativity and satisfying effort, and just better matches the pace of playing that I like. you never do that, you are absolutely "make every second count of every day count", so immediately you've won my heart. I think your unbelievably thorough understanding of this game is far more impressive than blunt reflex skills. your approach towards achieving goals at an unbelievable date in the game is so enjoyable and fascinating to watch. it comes across as true mastery of the game, but you also are creative and keep coming up with new self imposed challenges that are more ridiculous than the last. and it feels like a true love of the game. you don't spend THIS much time understanding and mastering a game unless you really enjoy and appreciate it, especially a game like stardew with so many nuanced mechanics and an infinite skill ceiling. that love really comes through in your videos, and I really enjoy that. sorry for rambling, but I just really like how you speedrun. also, your accent rocks and I'm in love with your cat. what a lovely little guy.
Thank you so much for the kind words :) These runs that aim to do a goal in the least amount of ingame time has been dubbed "Challenge Runs". I do do the occasional speedrun as well. The Krobus video is an example. I enjoy both styles of runs, but can understand those who don't.
I have been long awaiting this video (having seen your community updates, and streams when I could) and it was well worth it!! Such a great video as always. Top tier editing, top tier commentary, top tier gameplay. Thank you for the fantastic content!! ❤
As someone in both the Pokémon shiny hunting and RNG manipulation communities… the soft reset hunt for red cabbage seeds looks as arduous as a shiny roamer soft reset hunt and the step counting is analogous to Chatot flips in Gen 4/5. And your prediction tool looks as sophisticated as Pokefinder or RNG Reporter! If you’re ever looking for another game to break over your knee, the Pokémon community would love to have you!!
the combinarion of the sweet voice, monotonous tone and dry humour is so funny. it kinda means that i don't expect jokes at all so they're even funnier
I had an idea for a speedrun today: master angler speedrun. it doesn't seem like anyone's done it before, but blade is the only person I believe could possibly do it. you'd need to unlock the walnut room AND the island resort, and trying to speedrun getting to ginger island is a whole other thing. I doubt anyone will ever do this insane challenge, but it's still a fun idea.
Amazing! I ended up watching the entire thing in one sitting, that red cabbage seed segment was incredible! would have been great to watch live - also, big throwback to hosting streams haha! Great video!
on the day of a travel cart, you can change the seed in a new file, but press B and close it, and then load your main file, and the contents of the travel cart will be different. So keep trying random numbers until the travel cart sells everything you need. this also works with changing contents of supply crates, and also crop quality, and contents of dirt worms, among other things.
That is true. I discovered this, and we have dubbed the strategy "Dynamic Seeding". I have used this strategy in the videos "How I Proposed to Penny Before the First Egg Festival" and "I Will Bend Time and Space for Krobus". I don't need to try random numbers - I have scripts that tell me the results of the cart for different seeds, so I use this to find seeds that work. I am planning a run that utilises Dynamic Seeds to completed the CC in 2 weeks.
It is so wild to me that in this video he has intimate knowledge of the way the game functions to the point of building a predictor for most of the rng in the game yet didn't know the optimal skull caverns play. That's such a funny dichotomy.
I just finished the CC in my playthrough and it took me til Fall of year 2 because I didn’t know you could do different quality apples at the same time now XD
