My best friend is from Korea and I’ve been studying 한국 for a couple of months now . Based off what I’ve learned and what’s she told me traditional numbers is for counting 0-99. Any number>99 so 100+ will be sino numbers for example 100 is 백 (baeg) so since 101 is over 100 both numbers will be sino. So 101 is actually 백일 (baeg il) not 백 하나
Annyeong - haseyo, I'm from India n my age is - Yeol - du sal Earlier I only knew Hana, Dul, Set. I Only know little Korean. Gamsahamnida for telling me more about Korean Numbers.

I love your detailed explanation! I learned a lot about the descrptive form of the numbers. If the taekwondo L-stance is actually N-stance (니은자 서기) in Korean. How do you say 69 in Korean? Keep the good work!
This is such a good video. I've only known how to count to ten in Korean because I'm a black belt in Taekwondo, so I hear Korean words (especially numbers) often! I never realized that counting above ten wasn't too difficult!!! Thank youuu💖💖

That ㅂ is silent. Sometimes when you have double characters as batchim, often times the second one is silent. So you don't pronounce ㅂ in 여덟, and say 'yeodeol' instead of 'yeodeolb'. Another example, in 싫어요 (which means "I don't like") it is pronounced 'shil uh yo'. (Again the ㅎ is silent.) But there are exceptions when you have to pronounce them both. When a letter with two consonants batchim is followed by a letter that starts with ㅇ, then the second consonant in the batchim moves to the next letter and replaces ㅇ. For example, 삶은 (meaning 'boiled') has to be read as 살믄, and is pronounced 'sal-meun'. This changes depending on the word. It can be confusing, but there aren't that many words with double consonants as batchim so once you learn those words and the ones with exceptions, you should be good.
