Nice looking fish, and tank. I do like the Finnex lights too. I have an older one myself and I just leave it on the overcast setting for my Lake Tanganyikan tank. I do have a newer Finnex light for my community and I’ve turned off the blue light throughout the whole 24 hr cycle and found it cuts down on algae. Especially BBA…..maybe something to keep in mind.
They are a beautiful cichlid and the rockwork is perfect for them. I prefer the species-specific tanks over mixed-species mbuna tanks - they seem so unnatural to me. This reminds me of a Tropheus tank but arguably nicer.
The wall space between the windows looks perfect for the big beautiful tank. I am still a huge fan of the stand that your wife refinished.

Landscape places and/or rockyards are the best places to get scaping stones.
