    when Johnny comes out with that solo(1:39), sizzling mean snappy loud & constantly fast..i mean there was No One who could do that in '69(don't mention Clapton,Page or Hendrix)...he raised the bar up for us players.Early on,Johnny was a speed freak riffing/it took a while for everybody to catch up to what he was doing.

    • @mikekoenig6467
      @mikekoenig6467 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lmao why wouldn't we mention Page. Or Alvin Lee?

    • @imannonymous7707

      Alvin lee was playing the same type of licks and speeds. At the same time johnny was. You cant mention fast blues players and not mention Alvin Lee

    • @jimmyperez6277

    Lot of folks jammed togehter back then. There is a tape out thee from like 1970 IIRC of the Dead playing with Gregg and Duane Allman and Peter Green. Jerry and Bob just laid back and let Duane and Peter go at it.
