I know right, Sega at it again. The base game was already disappointing, you'd imagine they would give it out for free. Its like a 5 or 10 dollar expansion.
Wow the constant jump cuts and music changes on the battlegroup display is a terrible way to showcase the battlegroups, nauseatingly quick and short jumpcuts.
Sorry guys, imo the new DLC looks a bit poor. I would like to see Russia. If some people think Russia would not be morally, then US, Brits and Axis enither are they. 2 new battlegroups from 4 playable factions is a bit...I am thinking about installing again CoH 2, because there is so much more content. Thank you guys, ya really messed it up "CoH3".
Hopefully there will new factions in the future. For now it seems the focus will be battlegroups first, which make sense considering the existing four battlegroups.
@@tidaltvI'm not sure the game will survive long enough to see other factions at this point. The "expansion" is a mistake it should have been just a free update at best. They have done it just to comply with the legal obligation of selling the "expansion" to people who already own it through the most expansive edition. Literally there is nothing there, the free part of this 1.0 is more exciting than anything contained in the expansion. It's a shame for Relic.
Everytime relic make a new faction they have to build a campaign to go with it. The Italian campaign is huge so it makes sense to do battle groups first supporting Italian theater imo and integrating the new battlegroups for multi-player carefully so they can balance the factions.

One of which is just a pure mistake (the African one) and you are justifying the introduction of a British battle group for the already existing campaign, for 16€? Why they haven't done IDK a Creta offensive for the Wehrmacht as a unique campaign based on special abilities like paratrooper support. The real issue here is the absence of values compared with every already existing expansion for the CoH franchise; they have simply made playable something already present in the game (in fact the British and the Adriatic coast of Italy were present in the campaign since day1). What else is present in this so-called expansion? Well two unique battle groups, which can be also unlocked for free in the game, out of 4 different factions and cosmetics! That is just insulting. This "exapsnion" is at best a free update. I'm almost sure it's the bare minimum they have to do in order to fulfil their obligations for people that already own the premium edition. And that's it. Then they will probably abandon the game like DoW3, simply because the game is not profitable enough. It's sad that Relic is gone so low and is also very sad to see what they have done for AoE4 which has received a 15€ expansion recently with 2 new factions a new campaign, 4 new -essentially- battle groups for already existing factions, 10 new maps and tons of unlockable cosmetics. That's a DLC worth buying, hammer and shield is a mistake under all aspects; overpriced and overwhelmingly pompous, it's not an expansion is a cosmetic DLC sold as an expansion.
Very disappointed, I expected more Battlegroups and the Axis one is boring. So still no Nashorn or Achilles tanks :( The cinematic changes are nice but is nothing special, they could have done so month ago. they are just a few slider in the nvidia graphics overlay already, this is done in a few seconds its not like it would take hours or days, its changed by a a few clicks and done. The DlC is nothing to write home about , except maybe the US howitzer …
No Canadian or Australian infantry for brits or any other missed italian units... exciting to see something new coming but I really wished it was 1 bg per faction... atleast...
when is the reworked merit challenge system, cuz the one we have right now we would need a lot of time to reach 10k so I want to know more about it. Edit: is it possible that we get a new faction in the future? did they mention anything about it? cuz there are many ideas for new factions this is world war 2.
They also mentioned they are reworking challenges fortunately Yes definitely possible, nothing mentioned yet. Probably release some more battlegroups again before considering another faction
The battlegroups can be earned with merit, 10k each. So unless you want the premium skins and SP Battlegroup, they can be earned by playing the game with the reworked challenge system

To me it infers next DLC with have UK and DAK battlegroups - hopefully not too far off in 2024

Just go to the in game store and 'buy' them - they are currently free. Then equip them in your battlegroup selection
