Good question. Inaccurate comparison. I live here and even worked for Stan for a while. Ive lived in the US so not just going by hollywood. You guys live in a jungle. We are much more chilled even as criminals. Any crim that hurts women, and especially children is human scum and gets flogged once they get to prison. If they dont they get flogged by other criminals just as that idiot did who killed the 2 yo. We dont kill cops, we dont kill kids and we (predominately) arent violent toward the public when committing crimes. Theres a reason everyone, even criminals want to live in Australia.

The Apostle Paul killed hundreds or thousands in his misguided quest yet none doubt his conversion. You don't ask a mechanic how to bake a cake so I suppose asking the unconverted their thinking of conversion has about the same result as if you did.

Probably hard for those who don't believe in God to understand why or how even someone like Stan could come to a decision to serve Jesus Christ.
For us who believe, it is God who has the power to forgive through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
It has nothing to do with the one who needs this forgiveness.
It has everything to do with what occurred as a result of Christ dying on the cross.
He died for every sin including murder.

I believe in miracles, and I believe that even assassins can be redeemed. But I’m always very skeptical when a criminal professes Jesus. 😅 There are a LOT of them who do, especially in court, after being caught. There are also many stories of pastors, and other supposedly men of God, who turn out to be criminals, even killers. So... in the end, only God knows who really gave their hearts to Him.

Sounds like you are religious. I am not but regardless you made an interesting statement. Stan wasnt an assassin. He was an enforcer in the world he lived within, like the police, courts and prison are for the world you live within. And believe in. You also made a very good point that men of God have committed some of the most vile crimes of human existence and the church protects them and even covers their crimes up. To me, those are the men, the true criminals in this world, who need to be "assassinated". Human garbage that rape our children within a system where no punishment is ever dealt out. If you want to prey for a miracle prey for God to strike down with great vengeance those who attempt to poison or destroy our children. Then we're talking justice.

@@ImBitcoinBaby I don't "prey" on anything. That's what predators do. But I do pray to God, yes. I pray that he would redeem evil men, though. And that He won't allow my soul to be consumed by hatred or fear, but instead be filled with love for the enemies of humanity that are operating globally right now. I pray for their repentance and redemption. That's what God incarnate, Jesus, has taught us to do.
Judgement and condemnation are reserved for God alone, for when the Time comes and evil men didn't repent for their evil deeds.
I'm glad that there is Divine Justice and that men won't escape it, but at the same time we're not called to rejoice on the destruction of other human beings.
I am sorry for them, for loosing their souls and their eternity with the Creator of everything.

No? Ive never told this to anyone I dont know before. I am now 60.
My first job out of school in 1979 turned out my boss worked for Stan. I was still 15. My father who worked for Qantas was on the side, a smuggler. Not drugs, hi-fi. Dad was very smart and had taught me how to be a smooth criminal myself. Dad didnt consider what we were doing to be a crime. By the time I left high school I was an accomplished international smuggler. Qantas was still owned by the Aust govt so was quite straight forward how to get around the rules.
My first boss recognised my unique acquired skills and took me into King Cross to meet Stan. Id never even been into the Cross. I had no idea who he was and especially what he had done before that time. By the age of 16 I was working for Stan, along with my boss, overseeing HUGE cannabis plantations in Australia. I mean fckn huge. Valleys of it. I had no idea how violent Stan was until my 50's. Im surprised when I decided to walk away that I didnt get a bullet in my head.

Why would he confess to a system he didnt live within? Striaghty 180s have no comprehension of what justice and the law really is. Putting your hands up like in some movie, thats a load of rubbish. What stan did wasnt wrong and for whatever reason he turned to God has nothing to do with what non-criminal people consider. You have no idea what true justice and true redemption really are. A book of rules?
No my friend, right and wrong doesnt need to be written down or taught. We know inside ourselves what is right and what is wrong. And we also know what remorse or regret or whatever Stan was feeling is. No one, has any right to comment on what Stan did or why unless they live in the real world and not this bullsht world where (true) criminals are sent to a comfortable jail cell and redemption is putting your hands in the air. ffs.
