    Incredible video!! I’m not sure how I have missed this video before but can’t stop watching it now! I have seen Chris so many times and watched 100’s of videos and he never ceases to amaze me! This video is definitely one of the best quality vids I have seen . Rhythm section just unbelievable!! Haven’t seen them with Chris since the 90’s

    I took my son to see Chris just after he turned 21. Chris had been one of Nathans favorites for many years. I introduced Nathan to Chris before the show and Chris thought that was cool to see a second Generation fan. After the show was over we started towards the door to leave. Chris shouted out "see ya later Nathan" or something like that. We were both pretty touched that Chris actually remembered Nathans name. It made us both feel good. I had seen Chris probably 15 times or so and really thought he was special. I'm just telling this small story to say how down to earth Chris is. A great guy in many ways. I have always wished Chris was better recognized and got what respect he deserves. No doubt he plays for the sake of playin, but I just wish more for him

      +squatchy69 I have seen him 5 times, and each show he sits on the edge of the stage during a 'rare' break.. what a gentleman he is.

    I've got SEVERAL dozen of his guitar picks from watching his shows! Wow, what a PLAYER... he can jam that guitar for hours... he'll really take you for a ride! Never miss a chance to see Chris. John Jordan was my favorite Bass too!

    I like players like this guy who don't become too famous.It keeps their playing raw ,energetic and hungry.
    Stops them from becoming commercial and washed out due to contractual requirements...just my opinion.

    this is the first time I ever felt a snare had too much bite and was too loud. The kind of picolo sound he has got is great for a Neo-Soul-Funk-Hiphop Band fully loaded but here it just sticks out too much. He needs a lower snare in this three piece.
    Other than that this trio is fun to watch and listen to...

    It's official...Brannen Temple is my least favorite CDG drummer

    • @ryan-xm5nt
      @ryan-xm5nt 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% agreed, his drumming is completely flat throwing off that classic Duarte groove. He sounded great in the clips at guitar center with just a hi hat though. Chris Burroughs is my personal favorite CDG drummer.

    Well, it's always the same shots, the same harmonisartions the same ... everything, it becomes tiring to hear always the same thing. This guy has only the talent of interpretation, he does not have the little creative star. Not serious

    Just imagine how good SRV would be with today' s sound and technology!!!!!!!
    This one here is very good but still a copy of the master.

    • @SingularVisionProductions
      @SingularVisionProductions  10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Chris is influenced by SRV, but not at all a copy. Stevie was the exact same way relative to Albert and B.B. and Buddy and all the rest.

    • @Smoothways
      @Smoothways 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daniel Drader there is a huge difference between influences and copying. Jimi of course was influenced by Elmore but took playing to another level. SRV was influenced by Jimi but took it technically to another level. This guy here is copying everything SRV was known for: Guitar, Sound, Licks. That to me is not at the same creativity level as the afore mentioned. I' d rather have someone not as perfect but with more creativity. This is what arts is all about: creativity and not copies.

      "This one here" is a man on his own.. if you have never seen him, you don't understand. Now go listen to all types of music and you will find "copies". Chris is a very talented gentleman who may give respect to some of the masters, yet is one himself.
