Where did you get the upart? Can you provide the link? Did it come with the highlights?
I made it on my machine, it was originally a 4x4 lace closure unit, I just removed the closure. It’s about a year old with raw hair.

At best an hour???? Ok, that means that it’ll take me a good 5 😅. I too don’t know how to braid . I am excited yet so nervous about the thought of doing my own hair. I NEED to so badly though. Over the last couple years, my primary hairstyle was a sewin and it has costed me soooooo much money 😭. I love my stylist and her work but I just can not afford going anymore. I did also get braces and did tell myself that I need to cut my budget somewhere so I haven’t had my hair done since last August. I was negligent with keeping my hair moisturized underneath with my last sewin. I was also heavy handed with taking down my sewin and all that growth I had for the year all broke off. I was soooooo sad . All that time/money/patience of taking care of my hair only to be tossed out . I’m promising myself to take better care of it going forward and I’m going to use this tutorial to use when I want a new look outside of my natural curls. .
