It's vicious, cruel, unconscionable, and it's a matter of time before the meat processing facilities all over the world have karmic consequences. No, I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I just choose to be aware, and more people should know where their meat comes from, and make more conscious choices. Not every meal needs to be meat, if at all. There are lots of great, alternative options other than eating an animal that suffered for human consumption and pleasure. We don't live in the backwoods and don't need to hunt for sustenance and survival. We are an extremely gluttonous, indulgent society. At the very least, make yourself conscious and aware of farming practices, meat processing, the big name facilities, learn about the sentient nature of animals....even cows cry for their babies who are ripped away from them for veal. Those small wings in your bucket of chicken are very young chickens. Much of what we like to grill up and lather in sauce, suffered extreme fear, anxiety, stress, pain, mutilation. For anyone who doesn't know, look up and watch some videos about those 'wet markets'. They are atrocious, and very heartbreaking for all the animals that suffer them. Our own big name meat factories (Tyson, to name one) are horrendous too, and these wet markets are filled to the brim of crates and crates and crates stacked high of ANYthing with a beating heart. It's vicious, cruel, unconscionable, and it's a matter of time before the meat processing facilities all over the world have karmic consequences. No, I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I just choose to be aware, and more people should know where their meat comes from, and make more conscious choices. Not every meal needs to be meat, if at all. There are lots of great, alternative options other than eating an animal that suffered for human consumption and pleasure. We don't live in the backwoods and don't need to hunt for sustenance and survival. We are an extremely gluttonous, indulgent society. At the very least, make yourself conscious and aware of farming practices, meat processing, the big name facilities, learn about the sentient nature of animals....even cows cry for their babies who are ripped away from them for veal. Those small wings in your bucket of chicken are very young chickens. Much of what we like to grill up and lather in sauce, suffered extreme fear, anxiety, stress, pain, mutilation. Don't take my word for it....learn. Unfortunately, too many would rather stay blind and ignorant, because that pork chop just tastes better than compassion feels. ✌ 🐄 🐖 🐓 💗
