I have been main df since the season that came out but there was precisely something that always failed me for never trying it or not knowing it existed, and for muscle memory. I honestly didn't know that e could be combined with jump at the same time, my keyboard setup for e is set to SHIFT like ow1's df, now I can achieve a higher blistering speed for ideal places, even if they practice a a little more, they can reach the point through the window. Been thinking about adding doom to my list of mains, took me a while to master Genji it’s gonna take me a lot of time to master doom as well but it’s fine.
Make sure you are slamming as soon as you "jump whilst punching". The less delay between those 2 = going further. This might not be your problem but just a guess btw

You do go slightly further if you jump. it also lets u clear obstacles like the wall at 1:34 on oasis. Or so you can get a diagonal punch like on the spawn doors on Lijiang, Nepal, Ilios. Or so you don't stick to the floor if you are punching down a downward slope. Hope this helps :)
Idk if it’s because I play on console or just suck but if I can’t do diags, bounces, or land on high spots for shit and I got over almost 300 hrs on just doomfist
Everything still works on console. I recommend that you hop into a custom game and mess around until you get the hang of it. On the topic of turn slams, my most recent video gives a tutorial(although its a pc tutorial). You might find it helpful so you can figure out how they work :)
Really good stuff and greatly appreciated though I will say it's sometimes kinda hard to immediately catch when you upload stuff like this due to your titles. Like you titled your downward vert punch videos "rollouts," and this video is just "how to get out of spawn fast," when these are rollouts. Which I guess is kind of the same thing sort of, just I guess the terminology usage is a little confusing. Maybe Overwatch players use different terms but in TF2 and I think a lot of other games we call these rollouts. But yeah I was hoping you would put something like this out for a while, was kinda disappointed when your "rollout," video was just verts (which are also really good but I feel like these actual rollouts are more important for learning players since they're always useful and kind of necessary, plus less advanced to learn)
