►The skill tree in godfall was confusing for me when I first started. I didn't know what a lot of the terms being used meant so I'm explaining most of that in this video and showing the skill tree's I use. I run skills that help me do as much damage as possible. I'll explain the skills you can take points out of to better suit your playstyle though.

Late to getting this game thought it was a ps5 exclusive till yesterday, remind me of too human game is solid thanks for the info was wondering if there was a generalized way to build cause I haven't decided on a Valor plate yet
Weapon timing is shit atm to slwo and most bosses move pretty fast.
Resistance is easily a top pick. Most damage is additive. Losing 20% damage is actually like losing 2% damage. You’ll get to 200 to 600% increased damage. Losing 20% is nothing. Resistance is exponentially beneficial as additive resistance is amazingly powerful. 5% is 5%. But if you have 95% already, 5% is actually 100%. Granted you cap around 50 to 60, but that is way better than 20.

4:43 this is not true. You can actually test the numbers in training and realize that at max charge sundering slam only goes up to 30%, never 50%.

heya im max lvl (50) and cleared ALL content at least twice (even exalted macros lvl 60) but i only have 65 skill points max. any fking clue how i get more?

In my opinion I think it's pretty fun. Weapons only have a few combos each but combat is pretty smooth so it feels satisfying. The story is pretty short but then again, it's not the focus of the game. If you have friends to play with, that will definitely extend your play time.
If you're not 100% on buying it at it's current price, go ahead and wait for it to go on sale. It will definitely be worth it then.

One question: What is the purpose of different ailments in Godfall? I mean they all do damage over time but until now I did not find any specific reason to prefer on over another. Even in the Codex it is not stated which enemy has a weakspot for a specific ailment.
effects can increase damage if an ailment is on it. Sometimes it's general other times it's specific.
There's also special effects that work off of ailments being inflicted
