You are the first TH-camr to say medical store products in place of “drug store” by most of beauty bloggers copying others from international videos to mention this in ever dam video. I was like who calls it drug store in India . Just copy others style of talking has become a trend. But you are different Swetha, that’s why I like to watch you. Hats off!!! You know how to put things forward in your own unique style. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I could never understand drugstore word especially in India... there's no place like boots or Superdrug yet that gives you prescription medicine and cosmetics...
it is and always will be medical store unless real drugstores opens up in India...drugstore / medical store as long as people get the point that’s the only thing that should matter. well, hopefully after this video the good old word "medical store/pharmacy" will catch on in the Indian TH-cam space.

    • @happilyweird2591
      @happilyweird2591 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@darshinidarshini227 The lack of preservatives does not make the product bad. Infact the product is less irritant without the preservatives. The formulation of Physiogel is too good that the shelf life is upto 2 years. An important thing i wanna say is that 2 products made of the same ingredients but formulated differently will show different effects on your skin. It's all based on how good the formulation is. @@khushboobansal9699 hey hi! So the way I use it is when I get the flare up, like when it's red n big n painful, I'll just cleanse and use only calamine at night. Then as the redness gets reduced, I'll incorporate my moisturizer again in my night time routine before spot treating with calamine! I have dry to normal skin so my favourite moisturizers are Earth Rhythm phyto ceramide, reequil ceramide and hyluronic acid , and cetaphil moisturizing cream! I'll use either of these before spot treating untill even the marks go away before I go back to my normal routine! Hope this helps❤️
Ps:Also I use the green version of lacto calamine, for normal to combination skin!

Cetaphil moisturizer is indeed one of the best moisturizer out there. Like you said, it is recommended for a spectrum of ages and while you were mentioning about using it for Nirvana, I could remember using it for my grandfather whose skin was irritated and had some rashes due to surgery and pumping in lot of tubes to his nose. This moisturizer worked like a magic and he mentioned that this made his skin feel calming and better. Also, like you, me and my sister also used the leftover ones and we have been loving it ever since. So yes, thank you so much Shwetha for mentioning this.

I really appreciate that you specially mention this that in case of cystic acnes do consult a dermatologist.😀😀... And it is actually true I have not heard alot of youtubers who actually talk about this.... Alot of them just suggest some diys or any expensive brand in case of pcos/pcod acnes....and this actually do alot of harm to your skin. Me being a pcod patient, when I was in my 18s I faced this problem instead of going to a dermatologist I put my trust in the diys nd it just created a whole lot of problems I still have acne marks on my face. So if you are facing the problem of harmonal acnes please please do consult your dermatologist.
Lots of love to you Shweta Ma'am 😘😘

My mom, and dad slather on boroline all over their face and elbows, knees and soles every night and their skin is better than me even at this age...
Quick tip: if you have extremely chapped lips or chapped heels just heat a little bit of boroline and slather it on while it's warm...when you, walk up the next day it'll be soft and supple and the cracks would have almost healed.

You are right. Last year was so confusing for skin care. Facial Oil serum fragrance silicones. Good bad chemicals . Natural organic or synthetic.. Blah blah. It was so confusing 😵. And i wasted a lot of money and my skin was ruined too.. Then ultimately went to a derma and recovered. And i also didn't knew lacto calamine is newly formulated now. Thanx for the info mam.

Adding to this we have some good chemical exfoliators from our pharma companies-glyco 6(glycolic acid),sebonac(salicylic acid),sebogel(salicylic+niacinamide),niamax (niacinamide) and some good vit c options too. The right way is to know what your skin needs(ingredients) and check for it on pharmaeasy,1mg and many products will come.
I personally use sebonac and glyco 6 and the result is phenomenal.
Thank you shweta maam for telling abt these products to the indian audience. I feel these are much better than the cosmetic brands as rules and regulations for pharma brands is way too strict than cosmetic.

One of the best videos mam. We bengalis cant survive without boroline. Add brilante serum and facewash in the list too..they give a flawless skin .Small tip- warm boroline in a spoon and apply it on occassional pimples and trust me magicaly it heals it within an hour...i had utricaria marks on my face which solasafe and lacto calamine healed like a magic! I am using solasafe for 3 yrs now plus its anti ageing and i am above 30.

Retin- A 0.25%(White n blue tube not white n red) it is basically tretinoin. Though it is the lowest concentration available in 'Retin-A', still i would say it is very potent. I have been using it for 6months now. Works very well, much better than the costly ones available in the market. Under ₹200!
Just be cautious in the beginning. Start slowly, use pea size amount only, and wear atleast spf 40 daily. Good luck!

I had very oily skin during my teens and since I was in humid city, never cared to apply anything on face except a sunscreen. Then when I moved to Delhi after marriage, & Delhi Winters made my skin all dry n first time I felt I needed something. That's when I tried Lactocalamine upon suggestion from a colleague. I was hooked.. n yes, a small bottle never gets over... but lazy me stopped applying it once Winters were over and stopped using it altogether. My first experience to "skin care". But I guess it was the most basic, no fuss go-to lotion for many .. no actives, no am pm routine worries.. just apply it and you are done ! 💁‍♀️
Now I experiment with moisturizers and sunscreen mostly from your suggestions..because I can relate to your skin type and issues. I know what works for you, will work for me.
