We have a large Finnish community and a lot of West Virginia Hillbilly's here in Cleveland, Ohio. This band would turn the bar crowd upside down. Very unique concept for sure. Like them a lot.
not a trivial feat still but knowledge of rhythm, melody, harmony are transferable. it's not like you have to start from zero when learning new instruments
He's a man, a human, man of the woods from the central Finland (imagine Great Lakes, Minnesota), One of a kind, he's HILTUNEN! - So they introduced him here and on another video Took the liberty to combine them, he does have many elements to his music, like instruments :)
Was a bit disappointed with the keyboard, was hoping for more of their original sound. Still love these guys, wish they would tour US, they would kill it in Northern Maine.
Personally I really missed the accordion on this one, I think it would have been so much funkier without the "real" keyboard. And usually the banj'er player is the highlight for me but that double bass hits so hard here it's fantastic.
