🇬🇧Loved watching this from a British perspective, we have similar ‘car boot’ markets where traditionally vendors sold from the back of their cars, much more civilised nowadays. I though that everything was very expensive, we would only have paid a fraction of those prices here.
New subscriber going back through your posts. You are a kindred spirit. I love items in the raw. Crusty, dusty and rusty. The small bowl is yellow ware pottery popular around 1900. It's a fair price at $30 for retail, but not for resale. I have a smaller one with a green stripe cracked, crackled and a few dings. I've been offered fifty for it. I enjoy going junkin with you.
My friend is the woman you bought the picture frames from. Her booth always has great treasures!! The small bowl that was $30 was actually a great price. The smaller bowls are harder to find which is why they cost more. I just found your channel on TH-cam & I enjoy watching your videos.
I enjoyed the pickers market! Sometimes the larger Flea Markets are a bit overwhelming, in person and to watch! I love some of the same things as you; copper, crockery and wood items. $30 was a lot for that bowl, I have larger ones in the same pattern, so still would have hated to leave it! I’m a new subscriber from Minnesota, having happily come across your channel! I’m not a reseller ( just ummm.. a collector🤗) I enjoy your videos, and that your Mom is there, too. I love thrifting or “sale-ing” with my daughters♥️♥️
Nice prices ! Glad you bought the Glass Washboard. Loved BOTH swinging frames.. if you still have the images... scan them & play around with paint shop pro. You can overlay the image (like a double exposure) with a very faint skull as if you're looking at Their Skull {eg}
Thank you for watching! Yes the washboard and frames were great finds! I love your idea of creating a double exposure effect with a faint skull overlay. Sounds like such a creative and fun project!
Enjoyed this video & this size market. Prices were a bit higher than west GA & east AL. Really like when you show prices even if you do not purchase. Next time plz bring your hubby & let him show some of rhe cast iron & soda crates you saw. Knives, men stuff. My hubby likes to watch too! Thanks
I spotted the uranium glass right away. Once you recognize it you'll spot it without a blacklight. You can see a glow to it with the naked eye. I couldn't believe the price on the bowl! Wow. I know someone that makes medicine cabinets using the old washboards. That's my favorite from your score. PS. New subscriber from New Mexico.
I thought the Uranium glass was so neat and I’m glad I was not alone on that crazy bowl price! Also medicine cabinet washboards sounds so creative! Thank you so much for subscribing 🤍
Washboard, from experience, if you don't oil them, the wood dries out and cracks, so the same with furniture. It's a question of preserving MURPHY is good to use

Those frames are awesome!
Thank you, I love them!
Maybe an irrelevant comment, but the quality of the video is quite impressive.
Thanks so much!

Thanks Stephanie! I’m half English myself! I hope to travel back to England next year and go to a car boot 🇬🇧

I loved the small bowl and her booth! Such good finds, thank you for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed it 🤍
Beat me to it. Antique dealer for 50 years and I have only had two or three of the small yellow ware bowls. Scads of medium and large...
You and I said "30!?" at exactly the same time! LOL!
Haha, that's awesome! Great minds think alike! I'm glad we could share that moment. Thanks for watching and joining in the fun! 😊

The prices were antique store prices not garage sale, but wonderful things.
Loooove these markets.
They are my favorite too!

Could you mention prices please? Would really love it. ❤
Hi Debra! Of course! I will be sure to include them in my next video. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for subscribing 😊
Wow, $1 off! She really gave you a huge discount 😂
😂 I had to try!
Heck yeah, I would of too!
She was a tough nut.
Darn I missed those rubber stamps ..and the old brush....never know what you will find there
The rubber stamps were neat!
I thought your mum had a british accent ❤.
Yes! ☺
I never saw a kettle with legs before.
They are not as common, so I was thrilled to find this one!
They were originally to sit on hot ashes.
I wonder... I am in Europe and you like the same things I like and pick up here...
That makes sense because I was born in the UK and have British family! 🇬🇧
Can oiled washboard always looks wet? 😜DA!
Hi Denise, Can you elaborate?
