Indonesian traditional clothes are some of the most beautiful I have seen ever. Beautiful, colorful, but just with the right balance, without looking tacky in the design or color balances. If you removed the hair accesories and all that, some would look amazing as night dresses or even for work.

@@faenethlorhalien most of our traditional clothes are from kingdom time, and those dresses being used by princess or noble woman when they married or attending any event

Perhaps Anya's outfit is the typical of what foreigner imagine if they think about traditional Indonesia outfit, since it's Balinese outfit

well, even tho there is no de jure leader at holoid, everyone called moona "mandor a.k.a foreman". moona is basically de facto leader of holoid talents

@@andiezacky Moona is like the dependable Vice leader who everyone thought is the leader.
While the actual leader is the goofy Risu.
Like for real, you can see it when they are having multi collab, no matter how chaotic they are at the moment, when Risu tells them to shut it, all of them go quiet.
It's also based on the offscreen stories from the girls.
When Risu talks, everyone become quiet and actually listen.
It's just the girl is too goofy to actually lead, but when she is serious, everyone follows, she just has that aura on her.

The ID gals are something special. They're fantastic singers, great dancers and amazing entertainers. They came out strong and have only kept up that momentum, it's been a really fun ride!

Someone mentioned in the live comment feed that the lyrics make no sense....
    They don't have to.
Different languages have different words rhyming with each other, which is probably going to influence the metaphors that show up in lyrics, the collocations and combinations of words and, obviously, when translated they're gonna make no sense. Songwriting is less about meaning, even though of course good lyrics exist, but more about making words fit the rhythm and the melodic patterns and, in languages that have rhyme (which is NOT all: for instance, Japanese songs have no rhyme, it's all about rhythm and metric, like in poetry) it's about the rhyme, regardless of how little sense they might make. Folk music in literally all languages is pretty much meaningless. Think of Green Sleeves, in English. Absolute gobbledygook. Or Yankee Doodle. Lyrics will make no sense for a speaker of another language, but for a native they will make sense, just not in a mental way, but in a "this all fits together nicely" kind of way.

Also, some of the songs in this medley are in fact children song associated to some unique traditional games. As such, the lyrics would only make sense to those who know the games. The example is "Cublak-cublak Suweng" sung by Ollie. It's a Javanese children song associated with a same named game. The ID girls even played the game in the "Gebyar Hololive Indonesia" 3D live performance. The Banjarese "Ampar-Ampar Pisang" sung by Risu is similar but they didn't play the game in the 3D concert.

Yeah, this is why I often guage how good a FanDub of a Foreign Song Cover is by whether the Artist can assign meaningful and well-sounding Lyrics to it, but will score even Better if they can also fit the Western Rhyming Conventions into it fluently too...
If you're going to Translate a Song, you have to try making it Understandable and Moving to both Original and Target Languages! That's how I try to personally write Lyrics for FanDubs, even if they might not directly translate the Original Lyrics - as long as the Message Behind those original Lyrics stays true, how it's worded Can be modified to fit the Melody and Rythym of the Song.
These are Values that can be Misunderstood by Artists, and some might either Corrupt them to fit an Ulterior Motive they have, or Reject them arguing they want to preserve the song's 'Purity', but doing Either of these things _always damages the Quality of the Finished Product in my listenings to other Translation Works_ - but if you do things Right and the original Lyrics are flexible enough, you can keep the Lyrics as close as possible to the Source's Purity *and* have them be understandable and Rhyming...
