NOTIFICATION
(Important Notes for Spot Counselling)
In continuation to the earlier Notification issued by the Chief Administrative Officer, WBSCT&VE&SD
under Memo No. WBSCTVESD/TED/2024-25/2272 dated 06.09.2024 in connection with Schedule of Spot
Counselling for admission in Polytechnics during the Academic Session 2024-25, the following important notes are
hereby given for information of all concerned.
The filling-up of choice of only one Institute by the applicants belonging to SC and ST categories, has to
be completed by 1.00 PM of 10.09.2024, after which the panel will be closed.
The filling-up of choice of only one Institute by the applicants belonging to other categories (except SC &
ST), has to be completed by 1.00 PM of 13.09.2024, after which the panel will be closed.
Admission in the vacant seats will be made strictly based on the merit list to be published by the Council
on 10.09.2024 and 13.09.2024 by 2.00 PM.
All candidates must present physically in the Institute for which choice has been given latest by 12.00
NOON on the date of spot counselling i.e. on 10.09.2024 for SC / ST candidates and on 13.09.2024 for
other candidates. Reporting by the candidates in time is mandatory. No candidate will be allowed to enter
the counselling hall after the specified time in any circumstances.
The admission process will commence at 2.00 PM or thereafter.
The personal presence of the candidates at the chosen Institute is MUST for the spot counselling.
Filling-up of application form and and/or reporting at the chosen institutes on the date of spot counselling
does not guarantee admission or even participation in the spot counselling.
Counselling and admission will be closed as soon as the vacant seats of the concerned institute and category
are filled up. No further counselling will take place thereafter.
The candidates MUST keep themselves updated of all information / notification (if any) published regarding
spot counselling. No individual communication will be made under any circumstances.
For any dispute, the decision of the Counselling Committee of the concerned Institute will be final and
binding upon all.
Guardians will not be allowed to enter in the counselling hall.
The candidates should bring with them the following documents on the date of spot counselling:-
- Application Acknowledgement Form for spot counselling;
- All testimonials / documents (e.g. admit cards, marksheets, certificates, caste certificate, etc.) in
ORIGINAL along with a set of photocopies of the same;
- Two copies of recent passport size photographs;
- Rs.1200/- (approx.) in CASH towards admission related fees;
- Domicile Certificate / Medical Fitness Certificate / Anti-Ragging Affidavit.

@@MTAnimeshDas স্যার বলছি যে আমি এ বছর smfwbee থেকে ডি এম এল টি কোর্স পেয়েছি । কিন্তু এবছর আমি জেনারেল কোর্সেও ভর্তি হয়েছিলাম হয়েছিলাম তো এই যে জেনারেল কোর্স এখান থেকে কি টিসি টা নিয়ে যেতে হবে ভেরিফিকেশনের সময় যদি না নিয়ে যায় তাহলে কি কোন অসুবিধা হবে ।
