To find a car channel with such professionalism that focuses entirely on the Chinese car market is exactly what I have been looking for for so long. It's like peeking into another world (because it kind of is), without the racism that is so prevalent when similar car guys/car channels in the West talk about Chinese cars.

This is what evil looks like. People need to have the courage like Enes Kanter the NBA player to call them out for the atrocities. I for one now check where a product is made. If it says China I put it back on the shelf. Seeing some of the cheerleading going on on this channel and others is disgusting.

Yah, its nice, but havinng a chinese car theres a lot of faults you dont notice till you get it home etc. Rattles etc. I mean its still got more to offer than most big brands, but the longevity and reliability is like buying stuff from ebay/ali express. You know your sacrificing reliabilty.

Most Chinese cars are built of similar quality to other cars...quite reliable and built well..chinese consumers as demanding as the West

The WEY Coffee 01 is now available in Germany and the reviews were fantastic! However, the price of the 01 is for me too high. I will wait for the 02 model that fits my price range but has also all features required from a mid-size 21st century vehicle. Very nice!
Oh wow! I just saw one on my walk down to work this morning. I was familiar with the long red strip that Honqi has, so I thought it might have been a new suv or smth, looked closer and it was a WEY! First time seeing their front. I usually see the back of them here on the highway in pudong lol

I see the interior build quality has gone up quite a bit since the VV7 , the interior quality was abysmall at best in that car if i remember correctly ... The WEY Coffee 01 gets rather positive reviews overhere (central EU) as far as i have seen at least , although more interest has been shown by the public for the ORA Good CAT as it could become a MINI competitor !

The most affordable hybrid car in China is BYD's Qin Plus PHEV, a sedan that sold over 110k last year. As for SUVs/Crossovers, competation is ongoing, while BYD is still taking the lead and other companies are following up.
Even if I don't like the cars, I do like their naming schemes.
I think it's cool that chinese automakers have european as their designers, now it's time to get some americans in naming their vehicles already....please:)

It's the larger Mocha that's been shown off for Europe as the Coffee 01, not the smaller Macchiato.

But this car is not the plug in hybrid version am currently in fujian and i already test drive both version

Simply the PHEV version can add fuel on left side and on right side you can plug it to a charging station and it have battery of 130KM i like the PHEV

DHT is Great Wall Motor's hybrid system.
GW's DHT means "Dedicated Hybrid Transmission". In Chinese media its brand name is Lemon, e.g. "GW's WEY latte uses Lemon DHT". Other Chinese companies also use similar terms, like Chery's Kunpeng DHT.
BYD is an exception; its PHEV powertrain is called DM (Dual Mode) and the latest generation (4th gen DM) is called DM-i.
