Jak 2: Renegade Part 1# [Cutscenes]

- Following the events of Gol and Maia in the first Jak and Daxter game, Jak, Daxter, Keira, and Samos have accidentally sent themselves into the future while exploring an ancient Precursor artifact. Jak is taken prisoner by the Krimzon Guards, men working for Baron Praxis. Daxter successfully helps Jak escape after two years of being the text subject in Dark Eco experiments. The Dark Eco has given Jak new powers [he becomes Dark Jak] and has toughened him up-he now talks in this game. As Jak seeks out revenge on baron Praxis he joins a rebel group called the Underground to fight him in this amazing video game. In addition to the same moves as the previous game, you are given guns and modes of transportation.

when i was younger i couldn't go past when jak was being tortured i had nightmares now its one of my fav games to play
I used to play this trilogy all the time when I was a kid :D I loved every second of it.
Now years later, Naughty Dog makes Uncharted.
Never ceased to amaze me how brilliant these games are :)

oh i remember bight as day this was my first teen game i got when i was young, it scared the piss out of my bro the day i got, my mother took the game away from me 3 days into it didnt see the game again for like 2 month later, oh what memories defs my fav jak game
we don't need to argue about ps2 games. they were all amazing.
8 years of playing this and I still think Torn is the best character in this game. He's hot!

@jayCMWfortunato Not sure if you have been answered correctly. But Samos is old, almost as old as his legends. If you played Jak II, by the end you would pick up on this. Since he was stuck 'reliving the past'. This was one part he always forgot, when Kor came to take Jak. Its kinda like the lines Jak says: "No, I do remember the light". Its something they are supposed to remember, but meant to forget. Your only getting to see it once, therefore, they had that as a foreshadow.
@MyGodzilla99 Do you still ask yourself that question? Because, my theory is that. Seeing as Kor and the Baron both knew each other and Kor talked to Onin all the time. He was able to predict when Jak would be 'returning to the future'. With this he was able to supply the Baron with the right information on capturing him. Kor was able to persuade the Baron into thinking he would be the perfect one for the Dark Warrior project and that it INDEED will work. This would also benefit Kor.
that and no-one would be there to stop Gol and Maia, it would've ended before it began

@TheSuperZeldaFan In the Precursor legacy, Jak is about 16 or 17 and that would explain why he looks older in the second because now he's older (18 or 19)
samos seams to feel down on himself during this cutscene obv beacue he knows whats going to happen to jak
i knew that old man was kor cause i played daxter and its eventually in the cutscenes

@jayCMWfortunato I once read a theory somewhere that it means that's how the precursors were wiped out, the metalheads.
They stopped of the Crash CTF because the PS2 came out and they wanted to test the new technology with a whole new character. Crash was awesome, if you thought it sucked then you either didn't have it in your childhood or you had a crap one.
lol, neither could I. But the best part about it was when I would go over to my cousins house and we'd play J&D together. It was such an awesome game, but now that I'm older I have recently gotten a PS3. Still gaming isn't as good, as it was back then.
@icetea134 In North America, it's called Jak 2. Lots of other places, it's Jak 2: Renegade.

@ps3trailers100 Not exactly. He knew he would meet the older Jak, but he doesn´t know how they came into the future. That´s why he says "So this is how it happened..." ;D

@MyGodzilla99 I guess they captured him so that they can have a new weapon to defeat the metal heads. As for the first one i guess (SPOILERS!!) Kor might have predicted ( dont know how) that they would land there. Either that or they were wandering around the city.
@PlaystationCutscenes renegade has a slightly different style. renegade's guns sound different, an icon pops up when you have the jetboard and other stuff, but the levels are the same, i think... hope that helps :)
no I didn't have it in my childhood, know why? not everyone could afford a frigging play station, the first console I ever got was a Game cube around about...2004-5-ish, then i got the Wii.
Now my childhood revolved around me running around and playing outside, climbing up trees and playing with my animals, (real ones not stuffed)
Personaly, It was more fullfilling than sitting on my butt for hours bashing buttons on some controller

You have a PS3? Download the Jak and Daxter HD collection. It's only $20. It's FUCKING AMAZING. I just bought it. (You can probably find it retail as well, though I never bothered to look.)
